It’s worth noting that when you add the module with additional baffles for the long configuration the module should be screwed onto the main body empty, then module baffles installed and timed before installing the end cap.

Can you add the piston inside of the 3 lug and use it on a handgun? He didn’t mention that as an option but was wondering if it would work because it has a spring

I’ve seen you’ve done a video on both the omega 9k and obsidian 9. How would you rate the two against eachother? This will be my first can and I’m looking designate one to my BT APC9 and curious which you would recommend?

I expected the meter numbers at the muzzle to be at least as good on the longer MPX barrel as the pistol barrel, but your testing shows the MPX as about 10 dB louder. Any thoughts on why that is?

Comes down to what you want the baffles to be? All stainless or just blast baffle to save a mere 2.7 oz. For me, Obsidian.

On the MPX the 4.7" Omega 9K beats the LONG 7.8" configuration of the Obsidian by 1.2 DB! The Omega 9K also beats the shortened 4.8" Obsidian by 10.2 DB on the MPX! American Eagle 147gr was used in all testing by Captial Armory so apples to apples. Omega 9K is still amazing in 2019.

Wolfman seems better suited for a sub gun than a pistol. It is a very girthy suppressor for a pistol.

Rudy A after hours and hours and hours of research I had narrowed it down to 3, Odessa 9, Obsidian 9, and Gemtech Lunar 9. The Gemtech looked like a solid choice but literally came out not too long ago and not much info so I didn’t wanna risk it. Then that left me with the 2 choices. The Obisidian 9 has a lot more reviews and vids so it’s a solid choice for more calibers but I wasn’t 100% sold on the look. Then I decided on the Odessa 9 for several reasons, the modularity is the best on the market no questions asked and that’s fact because of the 11 baffles config. The look of the silencer itself was my fave out of all of them period. Lastly, I’m mostly going to be shooting handguns (9mm, .380, 22lr) and it’s perfect for that. With that being said if I could only ever pick ONE it probably would’ve been the Obsidian 9 because of the fact that it’s so versitile but because for now I’m only doing handguns and I loved the look and modularity I went with the Odessa 9.

Nice man yeah the Odessa is definitely a great suppressor too. I’m gonna be using mine on a cz scorpion sbr and a Glock 19, the Odessa was my second choice and I think the reviews just swayed me towards the obsidian. The modularity of the Odessa can’t be beat in this class though you’re right:

Generally we just do pistol calibers for pistol cans. While it can do 300 Blackout, a rifle suppressor is really best for that caliber.

No-go. The gun won't cycle. 3-lug will only work on fixed barrel firearms.
