Bought the Apollo 2.0 last week at Motolegends. I have to confess that I was hit by how beautiful they are, the design is so sophisticated that it seems Italian and not Finnish, the quality of the leather, and the laminated GTX. And also the brand, it guarantees construction quality and duration. Now, I would not say that those gloves are good for summer, because leather and laminated are not best friends of cool in summer, or at least in my Spanish summer. I would classify them more for mid season: very elegant, leather-safe, comfortable, and seriously waterproof ride in mid season!

What would you suggest on sizing since you have them. I’m between l and xl depends on the brand and on rukka’s size chart I’m in size 11 but I don’t want them to be too big as some times sizes charts are off. My palm is 23.5-24 cm Thanks in advance

@@lorenzo7678 these are the ones I’m also thinking. I have a pair of alpinestars gpr v-1 aero which I’m not satisfied with. They are not comfortable to wear. And I just got the rukka Apollo 2s. A truly amazing glove for the cooler seasons if you live in a not very cold climate. Very comfortable and well made and also it looks amazing.

Can't get past the fact that rukka make stuff in China

You need to get over it. Lots of brands make in China. Some finish their gear in Europe, so that they can use a different label. But I don’t really understand people’s issue with China. You’d never use a computer, for example, if you decided not to touch Chinese-made gear. CP

Yes I know this, and if its middle of the road gear it's fine, but not top end.

Great review - I just bought these and the fit is excellent (for me) and they are way more comfortable than the Virium 2.0 and the Imatra 3.0 (to me at least). Finally they are made of the softest leather I ever touched 🙂

Rolex produces also in China, Mercedes and BMW have huge factories in China, Prada, Gucci, Valentino, Benetton, and many luxury brands produce in China. I visited many factories in Shenzhen and close to Shanghai and Beijing, you get the "old style" factories, but also some unbelievably modern and automated factories, so modern you won't believe. You have to differentiate the technical specifications, which need to be at European level, from the execution, that, if properly monitored, is as perfect as it can be. 20-30 years ago made in China meant cheap, today, if referred to important brands, made in China means cost effective and high quality.
