My complaint with Remote ID is that other drones don’t receive the Remote ID signal. Planes send and receive ADS-B to know who else might be in their airspace. Drones would benefit from knowing who’s in their airspace also.

Why would any hobbyist bother wasting money on a RID module -- the drones over NY and NJ clearly don't have them and the FAA doesn't seem the least bit interested in following up on that.
