it's been at least 7 years since i've watched elise but i forgot her name so i typed in "australian cake lady" and she came up, this channel was such a big part of my childhood, i remember being inspired by her and making a youtube video of me making a cake from scratch and it was a big flop lol (i used whole wheat flour instead of regular, it was really moist and bitter), those were the days, thank you elise for the memories!!

content farms are decimating this kind of contents momentary value. They are no longer profitable or are less profitable compared to podcasts. This is basically a charity act of her at this point. Offering free recipes and know-how.

@@alqualonde2998 I dont think this is categorised as charity when we could just as easily get free recipes and tutorials from other sources?! Thats the way KZbin works - the algorithm is the problem yet as a creator you adapt or move on, not ghost your channel for a year and pop in now and then? 🤷🏽‍♀️ just my opinion that really means nothing in the bigger scheme of things.

@@wikzaotearoa9592 adapting to the algorithm is effort with no clear reward in sight. KZbin is changing the algorithm every other day :D As long as someone is not taking money or some sort of benefit that would ethically contract the provider to the customer ( viewer in this case ) provider is doing charity. If two organizations are helping the same group of people, both still be charity.
