Great video! Very thorough. How does scoring work?

It's really odd that most people I know don't even bother with scoring! - Easiest is to add up tile score in rack at the end of a series of games and the winner has the lowest score.

I think you can, according to the rulebook by Goliath the wildcard/joker/smile can be used in the first turn and counts for as many points as the tile it is replacing.

Sounds like the way the game is played in Europe. Totally different in most American games in 21st century.

You are not telling the truth in 1:35. The joker always has the same points as the number it replaces!

Sorry - The Face tile is mostly regarded as having a 'value' of zero....

@@BrettGossage the rummikub app lets you meld with a joker, it takes the value of the tile it replaces
