It truly is. I love how Steward at the end humbly, but in a very matter of fact way tells Rummy in so many words, "I just blessed you with some precious jewels. Only Bert Sugar can hit you with this level shit, but even then, I was in the corner with a lot of these warriors. A true legend and they are both sorely missed.

I was dealing poker in Atlantic city back in the 90's and the man sitting next to me spoke. I recognized his voice immediately and said to myself that's Emmanuel Steward. Then I noticed his cuff links and they said the initials "E.S." before I had a chance to turn my head and look at him. I told him what an honor it was to meet him and he couldn't have been nicer. A real gentleman. R.I.P. Sir.

Hey Rummy, old esb poster here and Lennox Lewis and Larry Holmes fan. Rarely comment but feel i must here. What a treat this has been to listen to sir. Like the the man says below this is a piece of history. Manny always gave us real value in his interviews and wow where 'you' and now 'we' spoilt here. He's knowledge and personality are sorely missed in our sport. Genuine Legend. Fantastic job Rummy, love your vids mate, keep up the good work.

nice to hear emanuel's voice again. loved him calling fights on HBO. lampley so over the top, merchant just all-around bad but i was always impressed how steward called fights so matter of factly, straight to the point. i know each played their role but even when there was an absolute war going on in the ring emanuel called it like a true professional and an expert - even if you didn't know who he was you could tell from his voice he'd seen that sort of stuff thousands of times before. must've been a real pleasure talking to him and i'm very grateful for this upload, a real gem.
