Wait.... Wasn't Rumple like... Regina's dad?? Or was the woman who could spin gold someone else?? Also. Like. The fact that late game post changes Regina could spit out a pure evil version of herself. We all have the capacity. But unless being evil is like anger issues, where you learn to control it instead of letting it drive you, then I genuinely do not see how Regina who had changed so very much could spit out a pure evil, stage one self whose insecurities and traumas and pains had never been resolved or worked on.

Cora is Regina's mother. Rumple/The Dark One and Cora had a romance while he was helping her become the prince's fiancée. Their contract was that she owed him her first child, and they grew to love each other so he amended it to her owing him _his_ child. (Aka leaving the prince for him.) She went to go kill the king but realized love is weakness, so she tore her heart out so she could not love Rumple. She then left him and became queen with her prince, aka Henry, who is Regina's father. (Henry also being the old man Regina killed to enact the curse and named her son after.) So... Henry and Cora are Regina's parents, but it's very disturbing how intimate they are given theirs (and Regina's parent's) history. Blech!! 😂

@@soixsantes Those two together are really interesting! Kinda wished Cora kept the Dark One around but had an affair with the prince to use him. He and Cora would've been so fun to watch, especially if he found out Regina wasn't his and Cora turned on him. Then Regina could've found and learned from him just like before but he wouldn't tell her he was Cora's ex, and that's _really_ why he has her shove Cora in the mirror lol. But that happy dynamic aside, Regina and him are waaaay too gross for me to think about. They don't even look good together like they do as enemies... Imo, not judging others' ships lol. But him and Belle... makes me sick. I've seen that dynamic too many times irl, and to encourage romanticize such a toxic relationship for "love" is such a horrible and manipulative message and never ever worth it. But it is a fantasy show so hopefully most adults can separate that from reality lol

They had ups and downs since the beginning and she kept doubting about her love for him because he was a villain. Girl you felt in love with the dark one, the guy who cruelly tortured Robin in his castle. The one who made her leave her family. The one who caused all the mess in the series. Did this part was erased from her mind? I do believe she actually deserves all this for being stupid and believing that she could change him.
