This drum cover of “Run Boy Run” by Woodkid was performed by fourth graders at Boone Meadow Elementary School in Zionsville IN and directed by William C Doublestein. The three tubano drum parts, written by Anna Havala Tirman, are perfect for upper elementary and middle school grade levels. This song is fun, upbeat and fast paced, and the repetitive rhythms make it developmentally appropriate yet challenging for students in both the classroom and performance setting.
