This is the best most authentic interview of a poker player by 1000 miles. Dan Colman youre a dead set legend mate. Really appreciate your honesty and selfishly love to finally hear a poker pro reflect so many of my thoughts, both good and bad 👍. Very happy a good guy had such a big win and then put your ego in check and said thanks, and walked. Very inspiring.

I wonder if it is a credit to the interviewer. I love him, he is an enthusiast, knowledgeable, and no side to him, he is not pushing players to say something bad about someone else. As a result, players can relax with him, knowing there are no hidden traps, so they show who they really are. Maybe that had a part in Colman's choice to do this. Glad he did, as it is a really good interview and interviewee.

Proof that sometimes you have to go with your gut and not GTO. A10o is a fold for a 3rd of your stack all day, but had he folded he wouldn't have been in a position to win this tournament. Most solvers will argue until they are black and blue that it was a bad call regardless, but they are wrong.

what do you mean its a snap fold. he could easily have QQ , JJ . he could easily have flush KT with K of clubs. i mean it wasnt terrible fold from Reinekmerier. and whoever tells me its a snap call is not a good player. also he knew scott maybe he tought he had a read. also its one drop. so u have to take all that into consideration and much more
@cj7139

Tobias only needs about 35% equity to call, he's probably like 65% equity vs Scott's range of hands there given combos, etc. Pretty ridiculous fold in the opinion of anyone who know their ass from a hole in the ground.

You're not really underrepped with the aces. There are a ton of hands in your range that are better calls. Like, if you had called with tens preflop you would still be "underrepped" in the sense that you have a stronger starting hand than you're expected to, but that doesn't mean you should call with tens on that board obviously.
@pavel2927
@pavel2927 3 жыл бұрын
you are under-repped because Seiver doesn't have to be bluffing in order for you to have the best hand. if you're beating value shoves, it's a mandatory call
@OsefKincaid
@OsefKincaid 3 жыл бұрын
@@pavel2927 Underrepped specifically means that you have a better hand than villain expects based on your range. This is not the case here, AA isn't a very good hand. Seiver puts you on a lot of better hands than this. This doesn't mean that you should fold, I think you should call. You just don't really have a better hand than villain expects.
@brilliantbeaches5389
@brilliantbeaches5389 3 жыл бұрын
What are you talking about? He expects him to have better hands then AA, that's two pair buddy. You think Seiver bluff shoves into two pair? Some of you really have no clue what they are talking about. AA is underrepped and Seivers reaction clearly shows that.
