I can honestly say, you've never missed a Traveling Tall Ride in Bagger Show or a Traveling Tall's Run to the Hills, 1-4 I appreciate your support and I enjoy your content, especially when you had the Street Glide 😀 Keep Gliding hope to ride with you on my way to Clarksdale Mississippi soon.

It's an easy decision for me. Your events are a lot of fun and I get to socialize with other great riders! I sincerely appreciate all the effort from you and your family. I know it must be stressful!

@RidingandWrenching I might have gotten 6 hours of sleep that weekend. My dog had bladder stones and I had to take him to the ER for emergency surgery a couple days before. There were complications after his surgery and he wasn't looking to good during the event. I was worried about him. We took him back to the vet Monday and they gave him stronger antibiotics and he's seems to be recovering better now. The people was awesome and the ride was great but I had that in the back of my mind. Again thanks for coming down again.

I did the U-turn, but when I was planning on doing it behind the folks whose bikes were already turned around. As l was riding down the road to get behind them and turn, I saw Robert. He motioned to me like "What are you doing?!?! Turn around in front". So I did and it was glad to do it. I used to love doing stuff like that on police bikes, I took it as a challenge. Cue you made the turn with no trouble at all. No reason to get your blood pressure up, the rules don't change.

Fantastic... U-turn on a hill. Some riders are parking lot experts but lose confidence on the street. You are "DA MAN". I hate that we missed it, the fellowship is what we cherish the most. Hmmm a rider needed tools...HD rider? lol. Great recap, it will be on our calendar for next year.
@RidingandWrenching6 ай бұрын
You got jokes! Wish you had been there with my new Goldwing friend! We had a ball!! You are absolutely correct when you talk about parking lot experts....that's me! One of the things that Robert Simmons does well is that he knows your strengths and weaknesses and challenges you. This is the 2nd or 3rd time he has encouraged me to try something I would not have done on my own accord.

The boss just appears anytime there is a uturn or you have two feet down.

You got that right!! But a push is necessary to challenge us to move outside of our comfort zone. That u turn (while a little unusual) gave me a lot more confidence. I was able to execute that u turn using the techniques that I have been practicing....only difference is that there were no cones and I didn't have a nice flat empty parking lot!

Hey, if you're interested in seeing that moment on the way up to Clingman Dome, I was right behind Rob and caught your perfect U-Turn. Take a look at kzbin.info/www/bejne/hGnOfJajls59jck @ 14:46. Take care hope to cross paths again someday.

Thank you sir! I didn't realize anyone had captured that video! I sent your video to Robert Simmons....I don't know if he has seen it yet. That U Turn was a big test for me. It's one thing to do a u turn in a parking lot where there is no penalty for failure. There was a HIGH penalty for screwing that one up. Fortunately all of my training and practice gave me the ability to do it safely. That's what its all about.
