Great video I like ur videos because u are a person that always bring the best news of the hobby and to me u also seen honest on the reviews. Thats why i watch ur videos and it does not matters if is relate to what i need like in this video I steel watch it . I do use the Shark bye system but I do like ur reviews , in conclusion U are the best when it comes to reviews to FPV.

The Phoenix has a sharper picture than the Polar in daylight. That said, I bought my Polar for night time use. The Polar is fantastic at night. ;-)

I have 12 DJI Digital Drones, 8 have the Polar Caddx, so I was excited when Runcam sent me the Phoenix Link kit, to try out. I converted my 4k Cinequeen analog over to the Runcam kit. The only plus I can see I got with this conversion is real long distance when flying, on my flights and editing the Caddx polar out preformed the Runcam during the day and the Polar blew away the Phoenix at night shots. I will give the nod to the phoenix on saturation, but the phoenix compared to all 8 of my polar's its less sharp. While I am glad I converted my analog cinequeen over, cause I wasn't flying it anyway, I won't be installing or buying anymore Runcam Phoenix systems. I will spend the extra bucks on a Caddx Polar instead, remember just MY IMO on my tested, drones and editing....

Please could you help I have the v2 goggles. I have the vista polar unit. Once the quad connects to the goggles I am unable to go into the goggles settings. I can only access the menu once the drone is disconnected. It says I am in public mode, It wont let me select a channel neither will it allow me to select player as I said When i hold the button down on the goggles The menu will not show on screen

That's really odd. Try refreshing the firmware on the goggles.

Hi Mad thanks for the review, but what’s more important what about canvas mode, and the ability to record also all of the OSD data from the goggles? It’s sooo quiet from DJI is there any development still??

Are these new vista units.... With polar and phoenix cameras shipped with the new firmware because of a hardware change in the manufacture of the vista .. Then to use one with the new firmware will I have to update my v1 Goggles and all my vista and Air units...... If I update the Googles

I bought a couple of Polars when that was all I could find. I considered replacing the cameras with the Phoenix, but based on your review and others I am going to wait for the Nebula Pro. I don’t think there is enough difference with the Phoenix.

No I would agree with that. The Polar looks really nice in bright daylight but is struggles in the gloomy. However the Runcam is noisy. It’s not an upgrade just a side step.

If dji is supplying the actual vista module does this mean the cameras are interchangeable? Meaning you can use a runcam link unit with a Caddx camera?

What version of firmware are you running on your Goggles and new phoenix vista.... Is it true that if you upgrade your existing vista to the latest firmware.. You are then unable to downgrade it back to the previous version?

Sadly DJI has removed the older versions since the last update.

(For whatever the thing was) Now, about air units, what does this mean to folks not keeping up. Is this only ever compatible with DJI stuff? Phoenix was certainly better with colours, the Polar was oversaturated in the green area. Does it have an SD recording slot on board and if yes, at what resolution?

You can use the menu board to adjust the saturation

Do you have drone battery voltage in osd? If not you need to bind unit to goggles for transmitter to get out of “low power mode” 25w

He had the full size air unit in the craft which records audio, these cameras can be connected to an air unit, it records 720p60 iirc.
