Yeah, the dialogue stays the same even if Dylas has a son instead of a daughter. Either Dylas is in denial on having a son or Dylas don't want his son datin' no boys. He learned the hard way. Doug took Dylas's heart and stomped on it. So Dylas will warn his own boy not to go down that gnarly path of tears. So painful.

I ended up having a son with Dylas in one of my files (the other two for Leon and Vishnal XD so many bishies, such little amount of save files. would have killed to have married Kiel because of how friggin adorable he is) and I find it hysterical how Dylas still uses the "no boys ever" line even with his son....What is that supposed to mean Dylas? No boys for your son? *cough* XD The bishies cooing in this game are so cute. Dylas and Leon's are so hilarious XDD

@Octavia Scratch - It's not letting me reply to you, so hopefully you'll see this. But if you're talking about the reverse proposal event, you probably aren't doing anything wrong as long as you meet requirements (have him at 10+LP, go on at least 3 dates, see the Smile Practice event, and beat the first arc). The event is random, so you can't really make it happen. If you meet requirements, you can try the save/reload trick. Basically, the game decides in advance the date of a town event, but the actual event is still random until that date. So make sure you don't have any events currently in progress, and save your game each night. Each morning, talk to everyone and see if an event has triggered. If one doesn't, play as normal and save that night. If one does trigger, then reload your game, put Dylas in your party, and save again. Then sleep for the night. If Dylas leaves the party in the morning, then you've triggered an event that he's involved with. If he doesn't leave or it's not his proposal event, then reload and sleep for the night again. Repeat until proposal triggers. It can still take a while, but it's the easiest way to try and force the game to give you a particular event.

Not entirely, that's the end of the 2nd arc. There's a 3rd arc that triggers with the town event called Memories.

If I post it right, the info on triggering it should be in the "read more" link, if anyone needs help on how to get the event to potentially start triggering: You need to check the spot in Venti's room and choose all three options at least once. The first time you check it, only one option is available. After you select it, then from the next day onwards, a second option is available. Then the next day, a third. Since it's a town event, the triggering of it is still completely random, but you need to select all 3 options before it starts showing up.

Yep, it's for 3DS. It's currently not out in EU due to complications with the original localization attempt (developer went bankrupt). XSEED is trying to bring it to EU eShop, but they have not officially announced that they're doing it. From their FB page they've posted: "We've never officially confirmed it's coming at all - we won't know if it's technically feasible or not until it's all done, and the evaluation process is still ongoing." So sounds like there's a possibility it might not happen, but hopefully it will.

There's an order where you can add more rooms (in the same place where you can build more monster barns or add more fields, etc).

When i check the order it only shows expand farm , more fields, monster barn , etc but it doesn't show add more rooms

I looked around online to try to see if there are requirements, but couldn't really find much info. One person found that you need the crafting table, chemistry table, and forge to get unlock the order. And another place says you need to beat the Water Ruins. I don't know where you are in the main plot or what requests you've done, but it might be that you need to do some of the early requests or dungeons to unlock it?

I actually ended up getting this game because I wanted to get Harvest Moon, but the only copy was really expensive and my sister and I found a used copy of this game that was really cheep! (AKA average for a used copy XD)

I guess it depends on who you ask, but in my opinion, the Rune Factory series is far better than the Harvest Moon series. I think some of it has to do with the fact that there's more to do (fighting, crafting, etc), but also because the characters just seem to have more personality and development.
