I've been looking forward to the next chapter in your Rune saga, so this was indeed appreciated. Another short yet good read regarding info on the runes based on the poems and strictly historical claims is of course Rudiments of Runelore by Stephen Pollington. It is a popular beginner book, it would not surprise me if you have read it. But perhaps someone here in the comments have missed it.

No in fact I’ve never even heard of it 😳

@@TheNorseWitch It's a short read and avaliable online quite easily, so you should be able to quickly flip it through to see if there is anything useful. But like I said, it is a bit basic so you might already know the information. (This is the same person as above but not mistakenly logged into my daughters account this time if anyone is confused, haha!)

Hi Bente, first off all: congratulations on 10k subscribers!! Yeah!! 🎊💐🎉 I'm trying to learn the Runes as an offering to my ancestors. I have to say that it wasn't very easy, I felt mostly intimidated by all this information. But you were the first person that could break it down, so that I can understand a lot more! I wanted to share something that I have read about Naudhiz: it said that human needs are always balanced. For example: As a human being you need fire for warmth and cooking and light - all the good stuff, but at the same time, fire is very dangerous, because it can be so destructive. That's the kind of need, Naudhiz talks about. From my perspective this makes sense. 🙂 Have a great rest of your week! I'm already looking forward to seeing the next part of the series!! Thank you for all your hard work putting this together, Bente! 😘

About 5 months ago I had a dream that showed me a talisman made out of wood and it was an equal armed cross like the plus sign + and a symbol like Sowilo with red string tying it together but in the dream it was used to protect againt two shapeshifting birds.

Wow. Stellar video. I am just now finding out about Viking Runes. I am getting ready to wood burn the Runes into my circular wood pieces. A good friend of mine made the blank wood pieces for me and also a pouch to hold them. So my Rune set comes with some magic in them from him. I'm excited to do my first cast. I think I will keep it simple and just pick three Runes by hand and place them on my Rune cloth, which will actually be a piece of leather. I appreciate your knowledge. Thank you. I will be continuing to watch your video's. Oorah!

I see Naudhiz as a constricting band across the chest - making it hard to breath. That's my visualisation of it and of the need you mentioned. Great video. Thank you.

Ahh thank you so much for this video! This has been so helpful 🦋 I also wanted to ask, would you feel comfortable showing how you cast runes for a reading? If not, don’t worry about it. I’m not sure if you’ve already done this on your channel, but if you have then disregard me!! Congratulations on 10k subscribers! You absolutely deserve it! Thanks again for caring so much about your subscribers and putting so much time into your videos. You’re a gem! xx 🪬🧿
