@@impkiller5932 It probably is. It just doesn't have a deck to go in yet. This happened before with cards like Defile. In fact, this is a case where players are judging the card NOT based on the current meta.

26:30 A cool idea for a new card! Whenever you attack, gain armor equal to your attack. Could be tacked onto a minion, a weapon, or even a permanent effect like Inzah if it's costly. That would be a really cool card, and give life to some current cards in standard like the "gain 10 attack, can't attack face"

Until Snnuy actually said "Zilliax becomes an 8/7" I was very badly misreading Blackrock n' Roll. Thought it was setting their attack and health equal to their cost and you'd need to build your deck as though it was Evolve Shaman or something and was wondering how that could possibly be worth 5 mana.

11:18 That being said, Paus-ik is arguably the best legendary of the set (At least is top 5) and is great addition to most aggro decks, most notably Face hunter, any mech deck, hybrid hunter (an agressive midrange deck) and Amalgam warrior (Altough that deck is tier 3).

@@somerandomgamer8504 I kinda forgot to mention something important: 3/4 of the new set SUCKS. The only new legendaries I would call good are "E.T.C.", "Paus-ik", "Fizzle", "JIVE, INSECT!", "Halveria Darkraven", "Zok Fogsnout" and arguably "Love everlasting" and "Tony, king of Piracy" which is only 8 out of 27. I guess it's them trying to neuter powercreep. Btw, Warrior did not got the worst legendaries, it was Mage.

Demon Hunter was definitely emo/screamo/alt rock. Taste of Chaos was a live music tour and Going Down Swinging is ABSOLUTELY a reference to Sugar We're Goin Down. I've never played a DH deck seriously before but I will just for this expansion.

Love the card guessing series! Although as someone who plays a lot of card games - E.T.C. gives you what other games refer to as a side-board. E.T.C. gives you a 3 card "sideboard" you can use in a BO1 format. MTG has cards which can bring cards from your sideboard (usually a BO3 thing) to the game right now - making it a BO1 "extra cards"

Rock master voone is so under rated. In amalgam warrior, as long as you copy one amalgam band and like 1-2 other good cards he feels incredible. My version is an aggro list that runs nellie and school teachers as a top end value generator and it feels amazing to copy those.

@Snnuy the other thing to remember is that removal spells are *way* stronger in Hearthstone. Small minions get popped for 1 or 2 mana with some form of development on the spell that popped them. It’s why minions have to either have some way to gain value the turn they’re played, or else have an on death effect, to be used. The only way a do nothing minion gets value is if it’s comically massive for the cost.

I think it would be really fun if you did some gameplay videos of each game together. But you have to use decks built by the person who doesn't know the game that well. So it's like the practical exam of rating the cards.

Voone is not a support card for Blackrock 'n' Roll. Menagerie Warrior and Blackrock 'n' Roll Warrior are two different decks. Menagerie is midrange and Blackrock 'n' Roll is control. A "support" card for B'n'R is the 9 mana Trench-something that attacks three enemies and of course as you mentioned, Zilliax. Another support card is Finley to actually have the buffed cards in your hand. That being said, B'n'R is indeed dogshit, and Menagerie is not good, but not trash.

I absolutely hate signature cards. It's just a stupid rare gacha drop, it looks out of place next to normal cards, but most of all the absence of text on the card itself creates confusion and is a general UI downgrade. Just another cashgrab move by blizzard.

One thing to keep in mind: Wild X Standard. The guest was considering It as If It was Wild. So a card my be weak now and inevitably break the game at some point. Where in Standard It might rotate out before that happens.

Rhythm and Roots is not that extremely terrible. I've been playing it in Tony Druid for a few days now and it works really well actually. Also, the most underrated card of the expansion is Cage Head. I'm ~ 65% winrate with my unholy Cage Head deck in around 50 games.

Myself as a Runeterra player guessing because I like to be confused with Snuuy: Demon Hunter cards: great. Big boost Rhythm and Root: horrible Mukla: pretty good? I don't know how dangerous the banana thing is. Stranglethorn: not great, but tradeable? It sounds mediocre at best. Pozzik: pretty bad. I don't think it does enough. Tony: just mad jank. I doubt you'd ever play a real deck with this. ETC: That looks incredible. Any kind of silver bullet on a stick Bounce Around: That sounds great for some sort of On Play deck. Good card. Inzah: Bad? I don't know what Overload does, but it strikes me as not great unless you have a big combo to do. Jive: strikes me as bad, but I love the name. Lol Rin: not great? It's a weird kind of disruptive that I don't think does enough and it's symmetrical. Blackrock: Good if you can play slow. Reminds me of something called Concurrent Timelines where you can deckbuff in a weird way. I suspect it's good.

pozzik is pronounced like it's spelled. the letter "i" diesn't make and 'eh' sound. it's "i" as in "Pick" not "e" as in "Peck" In Wild, ETC band manager is a must have. You need to put a Skulking Gheist, A Kobold Stickyfinger, and a really good card for your deck. If you're up against a mill druid, you play the Gheist, if you're up against a weapon recycling rogue, you use the Stickyfinger, and otherwise you have a nice card for your deck.
