That's coz the build he uses is a lot worse. It struggles after dealing with one hand trap. The build from the challenger appears could play through 4 negates no problem, halqi is all that was needed to make a board with 6 negates and the buster lock

@@fanix92 I wouldn’t worry about it. The whole point of a comment section is to discuss the video. Spoiler shields are nice because you don’t know if your comment will hit the top when people load their video but it’s not something you should have to plan on each time. It’s just the nature of these kinds of videos

Wow, pretty dominating by Spright. Could have been a clean 3-0 if Adamancipator didn't have appointer. Adamancipator just dies super hard to sphere mode and lava golem. Impressive. Spright will eventually get held back by the lack of handtraps, but look strong so far. Even the match they lost vs Unchained they seemed to have the upper hand. Next matchup should be a total walkover, right? Match needs to be played but MR3 Metalfoes should be far and away superior. Kirin is such a powercreep card.

The adamancipator build is weaker. More bricks, even one hand trap is an issue, the end board isn't as strong as the one used in the challenger appears.

Spright seems to be really skilled with their draws in the cbc, last year they made their opponents draw 0 board breakers in like 3 different matches lol

Lava Golem was a main deck card. The only side card they drew was Sphere mode in Game 4 but Lava Golem would've done just as well.

I feel like ending on block dragon IP if you know your opponent is on lava golem and sphere would have been the move, so you can at least maybe get follow up from blockdragon

seeing appointer again it really is crazy how it took until adamanzipators for people to realize that card is bannworthy broken. Surely it should have been played way before people did play it like goki extralink times

Maybe during something like Spyral format, but often times, the format just wasn't right for Appointer imo. Gouki was already handripping you, most of the Sky Striker formats were too slow to use Appointer to its full potential, same with a lot of older formats, also it was obviously useless in any of the formats with FTKs in them, etc. After all, the only time Appointer is _really good_ is if you can lethal your opponent next turn and need to ensure that they don't have a way to break your board. In slower formats with fewer OTKs, justifying it is a lot more difficult

I have a suggestion for next year's tournament. There's been a couple of matches where the 1st and 2nd place decks are already decided which means the 3rd and 4th place match doesn't really matter. My suggestion is to make it so the deck that finishes 4th in the group is eliminated from next year's tournament. Idk i feel this will make all matches more consequential and will allow us to see more decks we rarly see make it to the tournament.

Im not an adamancipator hater, i played myself the deck back in the day and really enojed it, as well as the finals against pepe, but i would like to suggest to give it a rest for one two years. So we can give the opportunity to other decks to be featured. Rocks can rest with honor as a former champion.

Forgetting to use unexpected dai in g3 before specialing an adamancipator sucks. Could’ve played out quite a bit w the rank 4 searching an extender. Ggs though!

Yea I noticed that too. Nothing was stopping him from using it, then the first adam gets negated, go into rank 4, search researcher, special it, excavate, and go from there. Likely summoning Halq

Read sphere mode xd. He lost the normal summon for dropping the round boy and analyzer can only be special summoned if only your opponent controls monsters, so if he activated unexpected dai he just would have lost anyways.

You should use the adamancipator deck from the challenger appears. The one from CBC 2023 and 2024 loses to a single hand trap and even their full board is weak, too many bricks and not enough targets in the deck , just about 2 Omni negates which an average meta deck can get through

Just 2 omni? 2 omni, weaker shifter, extra deck lock and 3 monster negates thats a strong board and even if he used that lost it would lose to spright runick regardless its a way better deck and an average adaman hand is NOT playing vs 4 negates
