I understand the jumpyness of Turkey hunting. I usually hunt in mid September here in WA state. Normally I go around 530 pm during twilight. An hour before the sun goes down. They've fed, grazed and start heading back to roost. I haven't used decoys in 5 years. I can usually get my Tom on their way back to the river. I wear a leaf suit and stand against a tree along their trail. It hasn't failed me yet. Nice bird bro! God bless.

Nice hunt without your dogs! I left my GWP home in April and shot my Osceola on a WMA this year

Awesome to hear - congrats! Has the new pup been born yet? I believe you said one was coming home in June.

@@UplanderLifestyle unfortunately, the breeding didn’t take, but I have a chance for another pup in June

Are ya sure them were baby spiders or could they have been ticks. Suppose to be a bad year for ticks this year I’ve heard a lot of warnings about them. I battle them every year grouse and woodcock hunting. Congrats on the Turkey talk about luck. LOL. Always enjoy your videos.

Definitely spiders! I haven’t found any ticks on me during Turkey season. I did find a few while running dogs earlier this Spring. Hopefully it warms up and drys up here soon, that should help.
