One of the most authentic pastors in Atlanta right now. He teaches the Bible unadulterated.

I love Pastor Mitchell..... True story. I moved to Atlanta from Baltimore in 2004 and did not know my way around I had only been there a few months, and found myself living in Cobb county but working in Forsyth County. I literally had to travel, 75 20 85 it had taken me an hour each way. One day, I decided I was going to ask God to get me home, because the traffic was always so bad. I prayed and then listened. He told me turn here and then turn here and keep straight and then turn here and I looked up just past a light and realized I was at the on ramp to the highway I needed to get home, He literally took me around all of the traffic in a place I did not know or was familiar with. I completely agree with Pastor Mitchell with letting God guide us.

I absolutely loooooved how Pastor Philip answered that last question!!!!!!! Love That!!!! That was God!!! That was the Holy Spirit!!! Either you believe that or you don’t! You can’t project your decision based upon someone’s answer and open the door for that discussion that most of the time leads to confrontation. Unfruitful Confrontation! Authentic Pastor❤️

I love that all the host wanted to talk about is JESUS! Phillip's answers were filled with the facts, love, gentleness and grace.

I like what PP said about not spending all your time with those who believe what you believe. We come together as the body of Christ on Sunday (not forsaken the assemblies of ourselves together) but we leave afterwards filled up spreading the word, making disciples with unbelievers. No judgement but Sharing Gods loving word with all who has an ear to listen. Pastor Phillip, you are on the right side and we are praying for you and your family. Peace & Blessings🙏🏽. Good interview!

I have been following Pastor Phillips for a year and a half now, I am with they will call digital disciple, which is someone who is affiliated with the church who doesn't happen to live in the surrounding area of Atlanta but it's fateful to the teachings and the Believers of 2819 as well as the word of God. I've always been a person who has been very particular about who I let feed me spiritually, and this is the only Pastor that I feel who has been effective through the word of God through his preaching, and not bowing to American Christian theology. There are some people who have to realize that time is getting short and we don't have a lot of time to be pacified by these churches and their religious beliefs. 2819 is far from a religious Church it is a Biblical standing church that preaches from the Bible, that stands on the word of God, and will deliver you the truth whether you like it or not and will not hide or sugarcoat you into salvation

I enjoy this pastor, but so many people I know thought a drink here and there is ok. But they ended up with a life of drunkenness. And I believe Jesus was with the sinners to see them change not just to hang with them or engage with them. We can't put Him on the same level as us. Said in love
@bjoneswhite3063 ай бұрын
I don't think Philip meant it in that sense especially the way he preaches. We as Christians (most of us) know why Jesus would talk to certain people others would look down upon. He wasn't pushing out a narrative of "Oh do what you want and still be a pastor" NO! He was saying just because you saw me talking to someone not ideal doesn't mean i'm doing something wrong, just as they thought about Jesus

Agreed, those statements can be misleading to non-believers. Seminary is necessary.

@@melaniecarter7343Paul didn’t go to Seminary. Moses had a speech impediment and was a murderer. Gideon was a coward. We have direct access to God, Holy Spirit teaches us all things. Seminary may help some, but it’s no necessary. God calls who He calls and He gives us discernment when we abide in Him. No man is perfect, we all obey God. People misinterpret the scripture all day long, it doesn’t mean it was written incorrectly or needs to be softened and rewritten for those who don’t have eyes to see or ears to hear. The truth stands and Jesus draws a line in the sand. You’re either with Him or against Him. We are without excuse. The unbelievers have the same command as we do, they are truth suppressors. Antichrist deniers and they must repent and turn to follow Christ. ”He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters.“ Luke 11:23 NKJV bible.com/bible/114/luk.11.23.NKJV ”For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man-and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things. Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.“ Romans 1:20-32 NKJV bible.com/bible/114/rom.1.20-32.NKJV ”For God did not call us to uncleanness, but in holiness. Therefore he who rejects this does not reject man, but God, who has also given us His Holy Spirit.“ I Thessalonians 4:7-8 NKJV bible.com/bible/114/1th.4.7-8.NKJV ”These things I have written to you concerning those who try to deceive you. But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.“ I John 2:26-27 NKJV bible.com/bible/114/1jn.2.27.NKJV ”Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us. But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things. I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and that no lie is of the truth. Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son.“ I John 2:18-22 NKJV bible.com/bible/114/1jn.2.18-22.NKJV Unbelief is a sin, because they are calling Christ a liar. ”“He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”“ John 3:18-21 NKJV bible.com/bible/114/jhn.3.18-21.NKJV

Thanks for saying that we don’t necessarily have to go to Bible college. I have asked this question many times and no one touches the question. If God has called a person and that person is faithful to study, to pray, to listen to God and be led by the Holy Spirit, then God’s CHOICE OF YOU is the seminary degree. Not one person in The 1st century church, that God called, had a license, a piece of paper. Why would they need to prove themselves when God called them? I believe it’s simply the controlling aspect of the world to require a license given by another human/sheep that confirms a person when they should go to God in prayer and ask God for confirmation of that person’s calling. That’s my two cents.❤

I love this pastor but so many people use the parts “Even Jesus drank alcohol and hung around with the prostitutes and tax collectors”…correction* He never indulged in with their lifestyles, they were transforming by being around Him out of their lifestyles. That’s the biggest difference and factor about who He hung out with. The people of all types were around Him because they were changing and becoming new people.

This is really important when born again disciples of Christ do these videos. The video topic is about God and His church. Introduce salvation to the listeners as we can’t take for granted that people may not be born again!
@chappelgirl3762Ай бұрын
That question you asked is the bread crumbs that can potentially lead you to salvation. It definitely starts with the curiosity of the who, what, when and how’s! Then you are going to find yourself in more conversations drawing to wanting it if you choose to follow that pull.

Man doesn’t put pastors in a box The Bible and God says this is what a pastor is an elder what a church is and Jesus didn’t hang out with unbelievers to be hanging he hung with then to save souls Jesus didn’t change they and we change Most pastors do just what your doing Joyce Myers’s has a story about changing hair dressers the new hair dresser was not a believer Joyce sowed in her life adventually the hairdresser surrendered her life to the Lord Joyce led her to Christ Jesus was about His father’s business Thanks for being transparent ✨

Jesús will still use you The Bible says let the wheat and the weeds be together and God will send the reapers to gather the wheat The Bible says do not forsake the assembly of the righteous Pastors stop conforming to the world believers stop conforming to this world We are called to share the Gospel. (Period) That’s why it’s viewed as complicated Verse by verse precept upon precept Where is that Arnold Murray a pastor passed away he shared the word like that When we do God’s work he will take care of you
@RileyedАй бұрын
The verse in isiaiah that says verse by verse was a curse put on them bc they did not listen. Major issue in our understanding is pastors select verses and use them out of context. You don’t want the curse of ever learning never able to come to the knowledge of the truth,
