Running Around With Pace McBride The Irish Ratter

I am looking for mushrooms and Pace is looking for rats. It has taken him a long time to learn how to catch them but he is getting better all the time. He caught a mouse just after this video was shot tonight. Most days on the farm one of my dogs catch either a rat or a mouse which is good because they are very destructive to our food and home.

Good job you threw that mushroom looks like a species we have in the UK with the common name being brown roll rim its a deadly mushroom if its the same mushroom like you said chap if in doubt leave it out 😉👍

next dog you get Clay make it a Jack Russell , it will sort out the rats for you. they're fearless, mine here get at snakes and big lizards and just about anything that lands on or crawls over my place ! never been keen enough to forage mushrooms, but thanks for showing whats what, and you get a few meals out of them. thats Homesteading proper. good on ya

Hi Clay, You mentioned that the windows on the house boat were leaking. Silicone is no good. They make this stuff called "Flex Seal" that you can make a boat out of screen and put that stuff on it and it will float. I used Flex Glue on the gaskets of my truck and it works 100% better than silicon. Try it and you'll love it!.
