Jason, you are awesome and I loved your DYI video. If I had not had my nails done 10 years ago, I might attempt this. These look great and the video is great as well. Would these fit my 2022 glc 300 4 matic suv with AMG trim? It looks like my glc has a plastic skid plate under the running boards. Looks like I can unscrew it and the bolts are there.

Do these fit perfect because I just ordered a pair 2 weeks ago the ends wouldn’t line up and the middle wouldn’t clip in and the spacing was terrible will I have the same issue with this?

Hi,Jason, planning to add running boards to my new to me 2015 gl450...watched your video because i plan to the job myself, was planning to order the parts from you but all the kits i see on ebay or amazon are selling for 375-350...when i plugged my car info in 2015 gl450:it comes up 550 bucks, but these appear to be the same kit sold on amazon/ ebay can you explain? Currently, Many of Mercedes vehicles don’t allow you to add certain parts…after market. Many of them will tell you that the OEM parts have to come with the vehicle…namely the running boards. So…we have to find off-brand aftermarket. I ordered boards from EBay…for 2021 GLE 53 Coupe

I have these on my 2018 GLS450 but went to replace the silver piece because it’s work and slippery. Any idea if that’s held on by 3M tape or bolts? Mercedes sells this piece but I’m curious about how easy the swap will be.

I'm not sure if you can just replace the inner part of the board. We only have the complete replacement. You can probably get them professionally painted with a textered slip resistant coating
