Jake, if Jr isn’t hungry, has a dry diaper, then put him in his car seat or infant seat on top of your washing machine. Run a load of laundry while he’s on the washer. The vibrations of the washer will soothe him. One of my babies was cranky and this always worked. Good luck, I’m praying for all of you!

So heartbreaking on the stray dogs! Try and get them anything without pork! Chicken, beef, or turkey! My veterinarian told me pork is bad for dogs and can make them really sick! I am guilty of giving mine cheese in small amounts only! Cheese can cause constipation! My dog was super sick once and threw up everywhere! It was because I gave her leftovers cooked with bacon that's what my veterinarian told me caused it! ❤ I'm sure they appreciated whatever you gave them and thank you so much for trying to help them! When my daughter was a baby, she had a time where she just fussed and cried for days. When she was visiting her French great grandmother, she sat my daughter in her lap facing away from her. Made a fist with one hand, cupped the other hand over it and pressed firmly (but gently) against her tummy. Within seconds she stopped crying, settled down and after her sitting like that for about 5 min she didn’t cry or fuss any more. She said that there was probably a gas bubble trapped somewhere and that helped it move on. I had been giving her gas drops and rocking, bouncing, patting and even riding her in the car seat (which usually put her to sleep) for DAYS!!!! I was exhausted. And in 5 min and old school great grandma had the solution. Try it, it may help. Love you guys!!!

For the first 3 months of my sons life he would cry continuously for 2-3 hours every night. I was given an old carriage so once the weather got nicer I put him in that carriage and go for a walk. The roads were not paved and quite rough. That seemed to help him settle down and the fresh air made it nice to get out!

Have you guys tried gripe water ? They sell it at Walmart it helps with fussing. When my son was born, he was very fussy. After days of little sleep, i took my moms advice she told me to put him in his car seat, set him on the dryer, and turn it on 😂 it worked, and he slept for hours

I used to use my finger to gently brush it on his cheek . I don’t know why but it seemed soothing my son would stop crying and would be asleep within minutes.

When any of my kids would be fussy like that I would take them a warm bath with lavender in their body soap. (Target has the honest brand one which I loved) then I would take them out the bath and warm up a spoon of olive oil (100% natural one) and give them a tummy massage and that would put them rite to sleep. Hope that helps you guys.

Ok… when my grandson was Jr’s age, he was the very same scenario, he couldn’t get comfy. Finally, the Pediatrician recommended to my Daughter to switch him to the British Baby Formula, organically formulated using vegetables to mimic the milk of a mother, it is considered to be Vegetarian, it’s called Kendamil. It worked wonders for him. He’s now 2 and a half and eats everything under sun. Also, the pacifier you’re using is adding air to his belly, so if you really need to use one, please try another type and if he keeps spitting it out, it’s not satisfying him so don’t try forcing it on him.

Hello HONEYS! 💙 little man may be needing baby cereal to help him stay fuller longer. I know my son, born in the 70’s needed it early on but my daughter wasn’t a fussy baby so she didn’t require additional feedings with cereal. Might help, might not….it’s all a guessing game with babies and trying to find what makes them happy bc like us, all babies are unique! He is so precious!!! Drs say no food till 6 months. Especially don't feed your baby rice cereal because rice can have arsenic in it. For that reason, don't give your baby brown rice syrup or rice milk. Feeding cereal early, has no nutrition, they don't digest it. They need milk fir nutrients. Feeding early can cause choking and sids. They say to wait till they are sitting up solidly and bring his hands to his mouth❤

Why do I always find myself wearing a smile when I watch you interacting with the A,B, C’s? I don’t know if I will ever have an answer for that, but maybe I don’t need an answer and I just need to keep enjoying the process. Parenting newborns can be an exhausting job, just remember this fussy time will eventually pass. It would be so much easier if they could tell us what is bothering them, right? The stray dogs are just such a very sad sight. Whose heart doesn’t go out to them? I guess those heartless folks who chuck them out on the side of roads, leaving them to fend for themselves are who wouldn’t….

Jake, I started babysitting at 10 , followed by being a Mom & daycare Mom & then full time babysitting Grandma. Some babies are just fussy,some have colic. A coloicky baby is the hardest . If all needs have been met & they still seem to cry forever & ever the only things I found to really help were warm baths & most often movement. Like bouncing up & down while briskly walking or a fast pace walk in the stroller. Car rides sometimes helped but mostly the others did the trick. In a couple of months this should pass or at least be a lot less frequent. Hope this helps. Your kids are beautiful! You are great parents.

I never tried it but I was told with you put them in their carrier and place them on top of a moving dryer, it helps break the bubbles up and helps them relax. Not sure but it may be worth a try.

JR might be having acid reflex. My daughter had acid reflex and we had to raise the head of her crib. She was also put on lactose free formula and we had to add thickening powder. Hang in there the first 3months are hardest. ❤

Looks like Brandon (the darkest donkey) finally got the confidence and courage to face Andy (the lightest colored). From what I understand, Andy is the main bully of the group and Brandon was usually on the receiving end. When my daughter was a new born. She had stomach issues. Warm water with a melted starbright mint turn water pink take out candy. Give him bottle while water is warm. He will fill his diaper but the stomach issues will be gone. My Dr suggested it. And it worked

If it continues you might have him checked for celiac (gluten intolerance). My greatnephew would constantly act like he was hungry and screaming non-stop. We took turns walking the floors and finally we took him to the doctor, the doc drew some blood and informed us that he has celiacs disease and cannot have gluten. He was also lactose intolerant so feeding him was and continues to be a challenge. He's grown up now.

My daughter was the same way. I was visiting my grandmother and she dipped her pacifier in some fletchers and it calmed her down almost immediately and I did this for a couple of months (now this was in the 80’s) she finally grew out of it and is now a healthy 40 year old with 4 babies of her own (and yes she did this as well to her children).

That type of pacifier gives them gas, if it has a hole in it. Use a regular pacifier. Burp him well after each feeding. There are gas relievers called “windies”! It’s a plastic tube that you insert in bottom. Those work wonders.

The swing was great help. We started to add baby cereal to bottle depends on doctor. If his doctor Let's you put a little baby cereal in juniors bottle. You have get a bigger nipple on bottle? The baby Einstein videos does great to put on in a seat. My son loved the ball in motion one. Good luck

If he has a tummy ache, hold him to your chest, and lift his legs up under his belly a little bit. Make sure you’re burping him after every few ounces he drinks. Also check to make sure there’s no hair or anything wrapped around any body part. Weird, but it happens. Love and hugs ❤️

Try swaddling Jr. when he gets fussy like that an he keeps moving like he was. I had a lil one like that an he would start to calm an then almost like he would startle himself awake again. Swaddling helped him calm an relax to where he could sleep. Also the lavender baby bath stuff helped too. You all will figure out what works for him. You all are doing a great job! You got this!
