Rushie got me into jump rope in 2020, and I have all his ropes and seen nearly all of his tutorials. That said, I’ve never seen him as a freestyler. His skills as a RJer are second to none but we can’t expect him to know everything.

Hey Sebastian, I always thought that Romania is lacking the understanding of a good jump rope workout, here most people consider it as being a tool for little girls games. I noticed her rope is shorter, it barely goes over her head, does it improve the speed? I mean the radio is shorter and it barely touches the floor. She makes it look so easy,. Two pros teaching us!! Thank you!!

I believe in another video she gives tips and says the shorter the rope, the faster it is because of physics. So keep it as short as you like?

Hmmmmm..... I happened to get into shuffling last year and can do a few basic Running Man variations...........but i've never touched a skipping rope in adult life, so it'll be interesting, adding that big extra step inbetween ! What a great video, and great skipper! That building looks so kool behind. I noticed a skipping rope at my Gym, so I'm gunna pick it up and try when it's quiet !

Just got the beaded money rope Rushie, love it. Question - When doing cross overs i can do two or three reps fine, then I keep getting the rope tangled as it comes back around. i.e. once you've successfully jumped over the crossed rope and are trying to unwind it on the 2nd part of the rep. Not sure if it's because i'm lacking speed or missing something else? Don't know if that's a common rookie issue.

My son had the same problem when I was teaching him. I told him to concentrate on keeping his hands lower and he kept going for a good minute before breaking his streak.
