Running my hydro tiller on my JD 318 for the first time - Will it even work?

This is my first use of a garden-tractor-adjacent tiller of any kind. Before this, I'd only had experience with walk-behind tillers. Further, this installation utilizes the upper arms of a 3-point hitch rather than the OEM upper mounting brackets.
My first 5 minutes nearly ended in disaster with unintended destruction that my wife was not happy to hear about but you'll have to watch it to find out more.

Just curious where did you get the blue weights? I have been into these garden tractors for years and this is the first time I've ever seen blue weights. Nice video! Thanks!

Thanks. I picked them up at a local farm for $30 each. The price and location was right at the time. I'm going to paint them green someday. lol.

Thank you for posting this video and the first one. I’m currently looking for a hydraulic tiller myself and this video was very informative on a couple of things. Will you be posting anything on the front loader like build or installation? Again thank you. P.S. this is one of the best videos I’ve found on the subject.

Thank you! Yes, I'll be doing videos on my 318 and loader but probably this Spring. Unfortunately I didn't get video of the loader build but I took lots of pictures. I might compile a kind of build slide show video if that's something people would like to see.

Good videos, I was wondering if you know the length of your hydraulic hoses? I have a 332 and bought that series of tiller but it is set up for rear PTO(which i don't have). I bought the center mount bracket but the hoses are too short.

Thanks. I'll have to lay the hoses out and check. I think you'll also need the belly mounting setup.
