The beauty of living in the northeast, generous of you doing the neighbors as well. Down here Steve we deal with 102 degrees with a humidity factor of 107. Awesome video, glad your chickens are well, remain blessed and keep them video's coming 👍 😀

I moved a lot of snow with a #49 blower and a John Deere 140 over the years. Amazing what those single stage blowers will do. Good clean up Steve - your chickens are happy.

Did you get 10 years of free internet/tv out of the deal? I also saw a Honda 250R...your neighbors have pretty good taste.

Been a long time since we got this much snow all at once. As a kid my Dad would always clear more than was necessary, including a path large enough for a delivery truck to get to the basement bulkhead on the back of the house. When asked why he would just say "What if we need a new boiler?".

Good Job Steve! You had the right tool for the job as always! A good old winter snowstorm. I live in Toronto, Canada and we had a storm like this around 2 weeks ago, ended up getting 23 " or 60 CMs of snow. It was the first major snow fall in years.

Hey 👋 Steve, thanks for the awesome footage, I use a JD 430 with the 44 loader on it. It's Man's best friend. 👌 question, do you have to raise up the blower so it doesn't catch stones or debris ? And if so how high? Could you do a video on this? Thanks

I've been enjoying your HVAC videos for years and have gleaned immeasurable information from them. Now I find out, by accident, that you're a fellow John Deere guy too?! Can it get any better than this? haha! I have a 420 and a 430, both with 46 throwers. I also have a cozy cab but haven't mounted it yet because it needs some love. Watching you run yours has me blazin' at the bit to get mine finished and mounted. I recently overpaid for a big convex bus mirror for my Cozy Cab to help me see behind me but your backup camera idea just blew that idea away! I'll be posting my fancy mirror to eBay ASAP and buying a backup cam and monitor for sure. Outstanding idea! I'm actually feeling pretty stupid for not thinking of it myself. I highly recommend you do the chute rotation pulley mod (replace the pulley sheaves with larger ones to give you more rotation - like 210 degrees of rotation instead of the factory 180 degrees) as well as the deflector mod with a linear actuator to control the angle of the snow stream. Both of these mods are game changers. I can't believe the difference both of those mods made to mine. Like you, I have the speed up sprocket and the wider shoes. Both of those mods are great as well but not as much as the 2 chute mods. Just my opinion. Look them up. You will thank me later - trust me brother! After all the tips and tricks I've gotten from your videos, I had to share those mod tips with you. I hope you consider them. Thanks for posting these tractor videos. I really enjoyed them. Also, why do I keep getting unsubbed to your channel? This is like the 4th time I've had to re-subscribe. I just now stumbled onto your tractor/snow-blowing videos by chance and immediately recognized your voice. I was like "whoa - wait - that's Steve..." and then realized that I'm unsubbed - AGAIN! WTH KZbin?

Steve this storm was "rock star" snow for snow throwers and the JD was killing it. What I was hoping for was that the MT5TD would make an appearance...can't imagine the damage that would have done. Is it still around or should we give up hope of seeing some good old fashion over kill? Love what you do!

Nice rig! Also nice to be covered from the blowing snow...I always liked the way single stage snowblowers worked. I guess the only downside is they take more horsepower to operate since the auger does both stages together. Great job though!

Got to have the heavy machinery, the chickens want to know why your throwing snow towards them, and everyone the neighborhood wants you to do their sidewalks and driveways, Good job Steve.

Steven, great video! I'm on Long Island, we got about 14", nice and powdery, my neighbors on the water had big drifts I had to chip away at. Got Fisher (LD/SD) plows on my Jeep Cherokee (fabricated brackets) and Ford F-150 as a backup rig. All maintained by me, 1999 Cherokee has 244,000 miles, running strong... Trans cooler/gauge and snow tires, ballast in the back... Such a maneuverable vehicle, F-150 is so much bigger.
