Running out of Food while Bikepacking Tierra Del Fuego, Argentina - Ushuaia to Alaska: Episode 2

Only a short while into my trip from Tierra Del Fuego to Alaska, I misjudged distance and the amount of food needed. This put me in a slightly stressful situation and I set up camp with a very high chance of not eating that night. No need to worry however, being resourceful I had a few tricks up my sleeve to ensure I didn't starve.

I love that you fish while travelling. This is something I've wanted to do the entire time we've been on the road, but I just never managed to get it together. It just seems like a really nice thing to be able to do at camp and then there's the bonus of getting some great food out of it. The amount of meat you get from those little trout is impressive! What are you using? Looks like a little telescopic spinning setup.

Exactly! I just have a cheap spinning setup. I have traveled with a folding fly rod as well. I normally keep it setup while riding which means te question of whether or not to fish is an easy one because of accessibility 👍 tight lines!
