When cows bunch up right near a gate, that is very awkward! You were braver than me, actually holding your hand out to stroke it. This hot weather is nice when you're not trying to run 😅

Yep - especially when there are a bunch of babies too. I think so many people go past on the downs at that they must be used to it, but I don’t trust them 😂

We hate cows on public footpaths. Dawn will double back rather than proceed. This brought back memories of running the South Downs Marathon many years ago. A lovely part of the world.

Thanks guys - yeah I wasn’t far off doing the same, just glad there weren’t any bulls around 😂. I think it’s easy to take for granted the spots like the downs when you live close by, I love it here and especially early in the morning watching the wildlife wake up with virtually nobody else around.
