Finishing a marathon is already a tough feat in itself. If you can complete it even though you came into the last place you still win something. Some people can’t even get off their couch to pick up a remote.

Interestingly there are “Ultramarathons” which are even 50 or a 100 miles. There are also multi day ones for a 1000 miles. I feel the same as Jim...even having to drive 26 miles feels tedious.

I disagree.....I've had runner's high....you just need to run for at least half an hour and music helps as well....you know you're having runner's high when you don't even feel like you're running anymore, your whole body becomes light...you basically feel like you're flying......
