Dennis and Melissa, with another classic matchup. Great job, Doc, as always. Almost human friends rule.

Thanks, Ralph, as always! That list is all for real! I am the Intimidator for sure, brother…you talked about that album in a new bands you love video, and that album is amazing! You, as usual, give awesome recommendations. I listened to Frost and Fire immediately after you recommended it, but I like King of the Dead even more. But, Running Wild owns! I never even knew there was such a thing as pirate metal. I’m in! You are the best. Thanks so much from Melissa and me!

I’m not familiar with Running Wild but Cirith Ungol’s King of the Dead is a Doom Classic. Cirith Ungol is one of the coolest bands you’ve never heard of. The 80s produced so many interesting and unusual Metal bands and Cirith Ungol is up there with Voivod and Celtic Frost in terms of originality. They had a very unique sound and the fact they have languished in obscurity for most of their career only adds to the band’s mystic.

I had both albums so sometimes you hit and miss with these albums I remember buying a album in 82 from a band called witch killer that was a long line of frezbie albums it was taken off the table and destroyed
