Running in the San Juan Mountains above Telluride, Colorado

Some of the trails in the video: Telluride Run (ski slope), Wasatch Trail, and Bridal Veil Falls.The Wasatch Trail was the best of the day though everything was quite stunning.

Thank you! The bugs on the trail weren't a problem at all. We camped at Alta Lakes and there were of course bugs around the lakes but it still wasn't too bad. It's kind of a bonus from the high altitude and dry air.

Fantastic shots guys - love it!! How are the bugs down there? I trail run around Ottawa, Canada and the bugs are fierce right now - don't dare stop for more than 20 seconds or so! Keep posting the great vids - thx for sharing.

Where and how often do you hydrate , I read that the body looses about a pint of water and hour when hot and exercising .

For this run we refilled up on water whenever we saw a stream and used a steripen.

I eat eggs but if I didn't, I would be vegan. Healthy fats, lots and lots of veggies, definitely protein but not too much (the body can only take so much), and a few carbs.
