Because media only loves "0-8-15" (run-of-the-mill) mainstream music which Runrig never produced or played. They made great music that was able to hold its own in the charts, but because it never was mainstream it wasn't played 24/7 on the radios and music TV broadcasters and therefore mainstream audience never really got to enjoy them 😟 Sad but that's the music showbiz industry😥

Runrig, were fantastic, was based in the outer Hebrides in the army in the early 90's they ememplfy the meaning, and love of Benbecula, harsh land but beauty within, I was a young lad of 20, engaged to a islander, unfortunately it did not work, but brings back fond memories through their music. So thank you Suzanne and Runrig.

Many years ago I went to the Oban Inn with two nice girls, we had fun until I was caught up with the music. I asked the barman who this band was, we don't know them here in Holland. I was WTF is this, waaaauuww!! Next day I bought three cd's. Later in that holiday I saw the show at Edinburgh Castle which is in the Wheel in Motion video. Can't recall I've ever been to a bigger party than this. Next day in the plane to Amsterdam I was still very much in the mood A A ALBA A A ALBA 🤩🤩✌✌🎸🎸🏴🏴🏴
