Completely agree on Maddy. I genuinely think she's one of the funniest queens ever. Her social media is absolutely hilarious and Drag Race did her extremely dirty by not showcasing that. I say it all the time, but even the other queens confirmed that a lot of Maddys stuff was cut for the sake of trying to make her look like the confused and scared straight guy. @@gabrielflores497 Being completely honest, I think Willow could've won the following challenges: Save A Queen: I love Bosco, but for me, I was a bit confused about this challenge as a whole. Maddy and Willow were super funny and both placed safe, but Willow was super hilarious and could've easily placed high/win. Daytona: I don't care if she sounded like Moira Rose, I still quote "I guess our invites got lost in the e-mail," daily and it was one of the most hilarious performances of the night. Could've been Top 2 with Camden (Jasmine and Bosco deserve their flowers too tho). 60's Girl Group: Willow, Bosco, and Daya were the best team, and should've been awarded as such. They were all hilarious, nailed the vibe and the choreo, and had the collective best performance/verses. And I disagree about the ball. Alyssa did good, but not as good as Willow. :)

agreed on Daya, i was so annoyed at Monét on the pit stop constantly saying she wanted her to do soft glamour like ?? no one ever told Angeria to give something OTHER than glamour 🙄🙄🙄 and the judges did tell Kerri to be ugly but I'm pretty sure they meant the acting and comedy challenges, not runways; keep the same energy throughout

idk angeria switched it up quite a lot and while willow and daya having similar esthetics/ silhouettes some of the time is a little disappointing, the season was so damn long that eventually some runways begin to resemble each other, especially if they were made by the same designer. Basically, we are too picky when it comes to judging queens' fashion while watching the show at home in our pyjamas.

@@pietrofattorello there's absolutely an issue with favouring certain queens with that critique but I don't think angeria got passes like that. The producers usually just ask the grungier queens to wear a gown or something pretty but you don't always see the opposite. Kerri got he critique this season but funnily enough, symone and gotmik never got told to show less skin and jorgeous also got a pass this season. Basically it's always going to be inconsistent but then they should just not give the critique unless it's a repeat of bosco pantygate

I think the thing about Jasmine painting "old" is not because old=bad but more on the fact that it doesn't seem that she's trying to paint old, it's not like that makeup was on purpose. If she was playing a more "mature charachter" the makeup would have made sense, and she was painting way too harsh same as Alyssa on S5

Even though Willow is more unique I think Lady Camden is more iconic. She has so many iconic moments from the season and her reveal is up their with Roxxxy Andrews wig reveal. She won as much money as the winner of season 2 so she is going to be just fine!

I’m so tired of people hating on Bosco since the Rusical challenge 🙄. I get it, you don’t like that she was saved by production. But why do people feel the need to drag her down? 1. She was Not favoured by production. If production wanted her to win, they wouldn’t even had put her in the bottom when it was so easy to justify having someone else there. Cause I don’t think any of them messed up the challenge. 2. She did amazing on the season, was really funny and really likeable. I loooove her laugh, it’s so ugly. 3. Before the video that i feel coming. No, i don’t think she was the worst in snatch game AT ALL. And i personally liked her performance in the Rusical. 4. I though she was gonna be in the bottom on the final song challenge, but honestly my biggest problems with the performance were the outfit and how the music sounded, the only things that did not depend on her. Not related at all, but I’m so happy that Willow won 😊

Your second and third points are entirely subjective and based on your own opinion, so I’m not gonna argue that, but your first point doesn’t seem to fully get what it is to be favoured. Your storyline is what decides how you’re treated by production; most production favourites are queens with big storylines and get preferential treatment to push their storyline, not necessarily to win. Bosco absolutely got favourable treatments to push her storyline, most notably with the chocolate bar, as the whole point of it was to create this idea of a lucky save leading to a redemptive arc in the face of detractors. Favourable treatment isn’t necessarily about winning, it’s about making a presence.

@@hkazu63 I can see that. My opinion is quite biased, but i still think she is really nice and funny and a good competitor on this season. What I meant in my first point is that the queen the production team chose for the golden chocolate storyline was never gonna win because of the audience reception, so putting Bosco against Jorgeus in a lipsync was sealing its opportunity as a front runner, and thus was not really favoured but “screwed” by production. Specially cause since that episode Bosco has received really mean comments and her work on the season has been diminished by the fandom just because she was saved.

Funny thing you ask that, because I had another 30-ish seconds talking about that, but I decided not to include it because of the conclusion that I did leave in the video: without the twist, in theory, Bosco would have been told to sashay away. Obviously, she could have been saved like Kandy, but since she was saved simply because of the twist, without it existing, she would have been gone. I thought the same thing about Yara on season 3 and DeLa on season 6, but yeah, Kandy's case is the most extreme, because she was legit told that she was eliminated. However, since they were all saved by RuPaul directly, and since we are meant to believe that Bosco just was very lucky (yeah, right...), I'm inclined to keep things as they are.

It's kinda sad but Jorgeous could be used as the perfect exemple of "Stay in school and don't do drugs, kids"... Also fully agree about the "old" thing on the main branch of Drag Race. Old is seen as bad and we hardly ever see an "older" queen anymore. Remember when we had one or two queens above 40 in one season and a lot of the rest were in their mid 30's ? Now it seems the oldest is always 32 at most when we have so many good "older" queens ! Look at Darienne, Pandora, Pupi Poisson, Sharonne, Raja (if you can even count 36 as older), Chad Micheal, Latrice. I could go on but I'll stop there.

Great job as always. Enjoy the analytical perspective that occasionally differs from the narrative that is being provided to viewers. It is going to be interesting to see how AS7 is going to determine it's winner as it is rumored that the queens do not get eliminated on a "weekly" basis as in a normal season. Will they use a point system or use some other measurement to determine track record throughout the season. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

If you look at the actual run times of the tracks Camden’s is the shortest (1m 6s), Daya’a the longest (1m 12s). Every winner in the regular season is unique and unlike the one before them. We shouldn't forget that this is more of a popularity contest, the one who stands out win.
