I think he's brilliant. Anyone who hasn't read his books really should. His first memoir was beautifully done & I'm anxiously waiting for my flu to be over so I can give his second my full attention as it promises to be even better than the last. Much thanks for posting this video. Rupert Everett is as enigmatically clever as they come and I adore him and his work immensely. Thanks again. :)

Yep, he's brilliant. Love his books. Somebody should make a movie about Rupert's life. He's managed to be present at so many historic events and eras.

Rupertt has been one of the most beautiful men in movies, and witty full of charisma. I consider him a much better actor than Rock Hudson, and better looking. As a person, I had no idea he is such a serious thinker. He is not light and comedic in person. I appreciate him as a person and an actor.

Charlotte Fairchild Rock Hudson vs Rupert Everett? No comparison. Rupert is a B actor filled with bitterness and a deranged new face. America disposed of him long ago when they realized he was utterly untalented.

An Ideal Husband is hilarious and he delivers lines Rock could not have done. Rock could play someone smart in a slow way, like John Wayne. John Wayne wasn't witty and neither could deliver the banter Rupert could. He is like most actors. Less in demand with age. 80% of the actors over 40 are male, so he has a better chance than most women. He could be compared to Hugh Grant. He could play some of the same roles that Hugh Grant played. Both are actors who brought meaning to roles and films that I would miss if he were not around.

Totally agree Charlotte. He is a great actor and somebody who tells it like it is. He won't kiss anyone's asses and if that means he won't play the big roles, so be it. The problem is that it does not pay off to be clever in certain environments.
