You could use Special constables and set up a separate force but this would require funding.

I think you're wrong BUT... Strong policing laws aren't what you need. Believe it or not, there's like 53 different examples of what you need. Every single state in the United States has a fish and wildlife service, sometimes they have a different name. Additionally, there's a national fish and wildlife, national Park rangers, a national forest rangers, I guess technically their state park rangers too so... 103 examples. YOU NEED RANGERS. Their job is dealing with poachers, wildlife crime, and nature crimes. You have an issue with poachers, call them. And yes they could be mounted, they could have Jeeps, pickup trucks, atvs, frankly a scrambler motorcycle would go over really well I think in rural Britain. It would be hard to get away from. But if you're going 10 mi over the limit, doesn't matter. They're not there to write tickets. Their issue is dealing with poaching, crimes against nature. Yes if someone breaks onto your farm and is hunting illegally, that's a crime they deal with. And obviously they need to be able to deal with issues of immediate violence. They should not be dealing with theft, domestic disputes, traffic, and so on. Wildlife rangers. At the same time, if there's a fox hunt, and there are protesters... If they are brought on private property they should be able to push them on. But if the landowner assaults them on horseback, I've seen videos, they have the ability to stop that. Because that's immediate threat. Someone gets moved on, with maybe a trespassing ticket. And the other one gets arrested for assault. That being said, the protesters assault the landowner that's assault there.
