Way to keep catching them even in this heat! I slayed the catfish (unintentionally) throwing a tiny crankbait on fork yesterday. Catfish nailing a crank bait!?! Reminded me of your recent video. Not a single keeper bass .Yay.

Looks like a great day on the water. Some nice catches on the evo jig. Looked at the last night on BFE website nut all they have left right now is the 1/16 , think ill order some this weekend anyways. As always keep up the great videos and good luck out there.

Any tips for targeting smallmouth and guads in the Guadalupe and Comal river?

@@ethansommers9508 I’ve never been to either river, but I know some really good smallmouth baits they would probably eat, Great Lakes finesse makes some really good smallie baits, their sneaky spin, finesse jig and snack craw, and drop shot minnow would all work well there I bet. I wanna fish those rivers sometime… it’s on the list. It’s just a hell of a drive.

@@clintonbruning Thanks bro! I used a finesse jig and drop shot minnow with a 1/16 jighead with 6 lb flouro and wrecked them on the guad. Skip the comal river and just go to the guadalupe and look for current. I caught hella smallies, guads and hybrids and in the current they pull super hard. Biggest was about 2 lbs but there were plenty of 1 lb fighters on the bfs gear. Good luck bro!

Ive seen you in 2 different aluminum boats…..how many feet are they?

@@stevegreer2168 my old one was a 12’ vhull that I almost sank last fall, the boat you see here is a 14’ grizzly tracker that replaced that. You’ll see me in my brothers 18’ Lund from time to time too. Thanks for watching steve

@@thomasburns8375 I throw mostly the 3/16 oz size which I think is the 5 gram version. But I’ve caught some on the 1/16 lately too. It just depends how patient you want to be while fishing it or how slow you want it to fall. Thanks for watching 👊🏽
