Come home decor and furniture thrift shopping with me at my local thrift stores! If you are looking for a budget friendly way to make your home look collected and curated, thrift shopping is the way to accomplish that!
I'll be revealing what I bought and then doing makeovers on all the items that need to be made over in a single day!
This is not just shopping and DIY, there's lots of home decorating too as those newly flipped pieces have to go somewhere so I'll show you how I style them in my home here in Sussex England!
I hope this gives you some ideas on what you can find in thrift stores (or charity shops as we call them here in England!!) and it inspires you to buy thrifted decor and furniture and to start a DIY thrift flip project!!!

In America we use the ladder, or as you called it the cable tidy, to hang pretty tea towels in the kitchen. Simply prop it up against a wall! You could add some dried herbs tied with twine on the rungs as well. Can hardly wait to see it styled in your beautiful home.

Your "cable tidy" is a vintage milk strainer rack. I remember my Aunts using it when straining milk when I was a child. You set the wooden rack over a pail with the metal sieve held in place in the hole. It is a lovely piece...actually all your finds are lovely.

Hello Tracey, I am recovering from some health issues and have watched 1/2 dozen or so videos this week. Thank you for the delight you brought my way. I don't recall who, what, which or where items were discovered. You made amazing finds. The trove of walking sticks, or canes, as we call them in the US was a simple buy, with so many options. May I suggest making a wreath frame of them. Then seasonally you can change the wreath out. The coasters would make ornaments to hang from your wreath. As a former decorator, tI could spend hours in the charity shops you visited! Such resources are hard to come by here.

Tracey, the cute wooden piece reminded me of a ladder. Maybe use it in a bathroom or kitchen on the counter with hand towels/tea towels, especially during the Christmas season but all year as well. I loved that piece.

I am learning to use what I have and I do have plenty was florist for twenty five years and I save everything which my husband hates. Your videos are priceless and what a magnificent home you have we built our house 25 years ago and because of health issues I’ve had to quit work which gives me time to have fun and play when I feel up to it, my legs have had lots of issues is taking me a little while to get used to your English accent and you would say that for sure about me because I’m kind of a southern belle so you would have trouble understanding me. I get better at it with every passing video. Fall is very special to me my birthday is in September almost fall. I love color so I don’t get rid of all of it. Here I have had a problem with people stealing from me my things I’ve had I have cameras put in they still take for me. Thank you.Hate a thief, some of my grandmothers things have been taken even some of the trees have been taken and flowers. Unbelievable. Anyway keep teaching me I will be listening and learning and doing. My mother was big Collector I learned a lot from her, but I do gentle changes at least so far but my mind is working. Have collected your fines and your reduced in my mind so when I’m in the mood, I will change some thing someway somehow we have a lot in common. I am blonde I have brown eyes. I have a wonderful sister who is very creative and uses her hands constantly quilting, painting. Etc. See you next time bright lady!

Just stumbled across your channel and I am so pleased I did. My entire home is thrifted and i have picked up some lovely items on car boots and charity shops. My colour scheme is a little different but I slso go for jugs wicker and mirrors. I am also a sucker for a lantern which is a great item to restyle.
