History of Percherons on Farms in Canada

Percherons are one of my fav breeds. Solid war horses and great jumpers when crossed with the right warm blooded horse

I farm and log with Percherons and find them very suitable for my work. I'm in Ontario, but most of my horses came from Alberta. I've worked with Clydes and Belgians also and have full respect for those breeds and those who choose to work and breed them. It would be nice to see an increase in the number of folks interested in live horsepower for farming and logging or urban delivery.

Give them their heads. Why do ppl feel that they have to constantly pull & push on their horse's head. Stop trying to control them. Give them space to be a horse. They are beautiful 🥰

She's trying to keep their faces in frame. It's not being 'overly controlling'. She has halters on, no nose chains or hurtful control. Calm down

This team of horses weight 3-6k lbs. A little tug on the halter isn't going to hurt them
