While they all delve in nostalgia, Zimmer is featured in masterpiece like Inception, Interstellar, and Dunkirk. What other memorable piece that Williams has made other than The Imperial March and Jaws Theme? Nothing

Everyone was against him... everyone. He didn’t give up. He fought and stuck to his gut. He proved everyone wrong. And that’s why I love him so much for his character. No matter what everyone says. Negative. All the negative comments he wasn’t going to come back. His career ended. Replacement driver. Shoved it all in their faces and give all of them who doubted him the middle fuckin finger. Fuck all of them. He proved it when he avoided that crash. And flew by everyone. Rest In Peace Nicki. There’s no F1 driver like you.

It's moments in history like this that make you not respect the man or woman who comes first in a race. But the man who fails and then comes back while in pain from there past failure. Niki Lauda is a great example of a great man who lost but won. Coming forth place with a smile on his face and driving with one hand and waving to the fans. That is the man who you should respect. It's people like that who make a massive difference. I got into a bike crash about a year ago with no broken bones but massive bruises and pains all over my body I went back the next day and rode my busted bike home because even though I fell I could still move and ride. Yes it was gonna be painful but I could do it.

I was lucky enough to go to Watkins Glen with my dad who was a photographer and had credentials for all access in, '73 '74 and '75. I saw Lauda get the win. I saw these races up close from the pits where I had to stand on a bench and not move when the cars were coming in. Then we would get a ride over to the esses where you could see the cars come off the ground. Those were the days before they went to all using the same engine. You just cannot believe how loud those cars were.

There’s something poetic about this scene. When Lauda almost died and fighting for his life in the hospital, he might be alive but he’s dying inside watching his number one rival win race after race..but when he went back to the track at first there’s fear and doubt in his mind and eyes and for a split second, he finally realized that his life belongs to the track..the speed and adrenaline are the one that truly made him feel alive..one more time. Rest well, Niki. We salute you

Until the 1980s is was quite common that photographers or even spectators were on the grass next to the road. However after countless fatalities of people getting killed they finally decided that no one was allowed on the tracks. Not only was it dangerous for the spectators, but also a huge distraction for the drivers. There are still videos floating around from staff, press members and spectators trying to cross the tracks and getting hit by the cars because they underestimated how fast the cars are. People getting hit never survived. Their bodies usually exploded like balloons, absolutely horrible and traumatic thing to witness. Niki Lauda was on the committee to make racing tracks safer by banning anyone, including staff members from being on the racing tracks.

Andreas Nikolaus Lauda. 22 de febrero de 1949- 20 de mayo del 2019. Descansé en paz maestro.
