What you played was two parts of a multipart epic. 2112 is an album in which the A side is an entire story being told. You played Overture and Temples of Syrinx... there's an entire album side to the rest. The B side of this album are independent songs, which are also really good. Other reaction channels have done the entire A side. Rush has no issues with these. They seem to appreciate the interest. I like to think they are also savvy enough to understand this brings 40-50 year old music to new audiences, younger generations that have never heard any music older than a few years. If only Don Henley and other could understand this concept.

Overture is just the opening to the song 2112 and many people have done reactions to the whole song on you tube. RUSH is ok with these video's. These 3 could produce music that sounded like it was more than they could posible make with just the 3 of them alone. The timing and structure of a song like 2112 is more of a syfy rock opera than just a song. like the Who's Tommy album, or Sargent peppers lonely hearts club band album. 2112 is, In my opinion, Neil Peart's greatest song that he ever wrote. Welcome to the RUSH rabbit hole. i hope you find the journey down this musical wunderland as enjoyable as Canadians have for over 50 years. :)
