Chris and Chan have one of the best chemistry in films but they actually didn’t get along with each other until the second film. As Jackie Chan said their first encounter was “confusing” and Chris didn’t really made a good first impression. Chan wasn’t really use to working with someone with such a hyperactive personality and couldn’t really make out what he was saying a lot of times. Plus Chan’s English wasn’t really all that good during this time either and had a hard time with Chris improvisation of dialogue In fact this is Jackie’s first film where he spoke English without having his voice dubbed over post production
@37robles2 жыл бұрын
Another fun fact; this was also Chan's first movie filmed in the US. Rumble In The Bronx was actually filmed in Toronto.

There are 2 Jackie Chan's.. "Hong Kong Jackie" and "Hollywood Jackie"... Jackie became famous in the US in 96 (after years of being famous everywhere else), and in 98 he went "full Hollywood" with this movie... sadly his stunts and fighting suffered because he no longer had full control over the productions as he did in Hong Kong. If you wanna see how truly spectacular Jackie can be, you have to see his 70s/80s/early 90s Chinese movies... Stuff like "Police Story" (1, 2 and 3), "Drunken Master" (1&2), Project A" (1&2), Dragons Forever, Armor of God, and Wheels on Meals.

There are also things that he's not legally allowed to do in an American production as opposed to in Hong Kong. But you're right. His Hong Kong days were freaking wild. Him and his crew did not fear pain nor death.

It turns out Chris Tucker is actually Christian in real life as he refrains the profanity.

Chris Tucker actually became a born again Christian in 1997 the year before rush hour was released. He done the movie Friday in 1995 and then when he got approached for the second one he turned it down because of his religion and he said he didn’t want to accept any other movies while doing the rush hour franchise. But yeah the rush hour movies were done while he was a Christian

The guy selling the C4 and was later in the jail scene is Christopher Penn. I only know him from another movie Best of the Best 1989 PG-13 Starring Eric Roberts, Philip Rhee, James Earl Jones, and Sally Kirkland. A team from the United States is going to compete against Korea in a Tae Kwon Do tournament. The team consists of fighters from all over the country - can they overcome their rivalry and work together to win?
@itsjohnnyr85602 жыл бұрын
Fun Fact: At the beginning of the movie when Carter shoots the C4 causing the car to explode; C4 is a stable explosive, meaning if shot, nothing would happen. You could even set it on fire and nothing would happen. The only way for it to be detonated is via detonator
@biggains12 жыл бұрын
What if you blow up a different explosive on top of it? Will it ignite with it?
@itsjohnnyr85602 жыл бұрын
@@biggains1 Nope, it would just disintegrate the C4. The only way of detonation is via detonator
@TrashskillsRS2 жыл бұрын
@@biggains1 You need a small explosion to set off the C4 reaction. If the explosion is too big the C4 will be destroyed and if it is not big enough then the C4 wont go off. It is why it is generally accepted that you need the designed detonator to set it off.
