Also, the audience politely allows their conversation to manifest without yelling and screaming. Lastly, no one tried to boycott and cancel Donahue after the airing of the show. Today, in 2021, this type of episode would never happen. If Donahue had a show today, he would be terrified of Twitter mobs canceling him for even having Rush on his show and giving him a platform. Entitlement is propagated to large groups of people without the need of an actual relationship with people who they believe represent them, thus.. individuals abuse their right to free speech, as them doing so {in some form} carry little to no consequence..most of their ideas stemming from the thoughts and views of others, not from original views or opinions。 Creating a cycle where personal achievement is diminished enough to where even in a scenario where an individual who has nothing to do with an outcome of a popular event, or even something as simple as a flat out lie; their surroundings are directly affected; and this dynamic shift is cause enough for this individual to join the majority。 Original thought being phased out and an imaginary freedom is created as their world grows smaller and smaller。 {26:05 - 26:07} i use the timestamp aforementioned as a visual representative of the message I was trying to convey in the previous paragraph, the audio should be ignored。 Example:{22:30 - 23:42} 📻: 49:16 - 49:33 49:42 - 50:06 📺 56:29 - 56:33: In this scene you see what Rush Limbaugh was talking about at (5:48 - 6:16) but much less exaggerated. The average viewer would see this statement as valid, but..is it not usually women that do garden work? There is an inconsistency...as men do usually mow the lawn{49:00 - 49:11} Another example, albeit miniscule on the scale of importance...goes to show you how our realities are warped by a medium in which plain truths are an illusion and lies (no matter how significant in size) are the basis of our truths。
