Honestly this was a really cool video. I liked it a lot, but I can imagine it was a huge pain in the ass to get clips for. Also I think the biggest reason why I think PvP is such a wasteland is because of how high the barrier of entry is. It doesn't even feel worth trying to do it from the perspective of people like me because people like you would just destroy me effortlessly. It was really easy to get into pking when only rich maxed players would risk ahrims and whip and people did 2 or 3 way switches between the 2005-2007 era. Could go any time of the day, find people at 18 greens, 35 greens, mage bank, etc. Every year that went by, this changed more and more, because it feels too discouraging to have no chance at all. The skill ceiling is really high and the best players like you, Oda, and whoever else, are just too good. I'm not sure what the best solution is but it's definitely not a "git gud" sort of thing because the overwhelming majority of people are just like me.

@@Lauth3 Yeah, and back then you had no worries about getting 1 tick KO'd. Seems like nowadays that's just the norm. Well if that's the case then I wouldn't feel comfortable risking any large amounts of money. And if I'm not, then I won't be killing anyone. So then there's no point. It's like just gambling, but with a high amount of skill involved.

you can definitely get there mate, i recommend playing around with mouse settings, dpi, watching the vids and perfecting clicks at lms etc. you're right about the skill gap, but it's possible to get to a standard where you can defend yourself/give people a run for their money
