My wife and I saw this Iconic Aussie music legend perform at The Palms at Crown Casino in Melbourne 2013 and I had tears in my eyes at how awesome he and his band were performing these great songs of my youth without missing a beat! My wife and I met Russell backstage and had a chat and took photos with this down to earth Aussie bloke who hit the dizzying heights of the '60's & '70's music scene! It was an honour to meet this iconic Australian musician! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Russell Morris for your awesome talent and music!

I saw Russell and Brian Cadd performing together last weekend and it was the best gig that I have ever been to. These guys had the crowd up on their feet..singing along with them..it was fantastic and I was transported back to the 70's :-) ! I had tears in my eyes I did LOL. Such great talent that has NOT diminished over the years but has only gotten better. These two blokes could teach the so called current talent a thing or two.

"couldnt get anyone to record it"... it almost defies belief. I used to sing this to my daughter when she was a still a baby, and it still makes me shiver. You always were and always will be one of the true legends of Oz music... and that damn voice really does just keep getting better.

Is it possible that Russell's voice is even better now than in 1969/1970? Man, I enjoyed that! Bravo.

Having been once the lead singer in a band with Peter Robinson, I just have to say after seeing this that I am proud of him and that he has followed his passion. I wish I had had the same drive when instead I am but to relish in a distant memory of what once was and what, perhaps, could have been. Talent will out Pete. Well done.

An amazing song done brilliantly by the original artist. Still, there are six jerks on KZbin inexplicably giving this the thumbs down.
@tonybarfridge43697 жыл бұрын
Still an amazing voice. The only thing I didn't like were the exaggerated notes and the slowdown. I know he is showcasing his voice but no need to try and improve on the original. We are all so glad you did it yourself rather than JF. Brilliant then and you've still got it. Hoping for a few albums. What's up with the lack thereof?
