I think for people like Russell, Sandra or Boston Robb, they’d have to place one returning player in each tribe and these people are not allowed to be voted off for X tribal councils or maybe til merge… or give them an idol to start with, I don’t know. They’d have to have some sort advantage to stay long enough til other people can become targets.

I have watched every season of Survivor and consider myself a huge fan of the show. I can honestly say “YOU” Russell Hantz belong to the Elite group of players who define how the game of Survivor is played at its purest form. Whether you play or not in the future, I have enjoyed the episodes that featured you the most. They will need a returnee season to create excitement for the show. I did not like some things that happened in S39 but there was no way I would miss "Winners". About being paid. I saw an interview with Tyson in which he said Parvati said she would not return for "Winners" unless she got the same money as Rob and Sandra for Island of the Idols. Tyson said Parvait claimed Rob and Sandra were paid 200K to appear on Island of the Idols.

With the direction they have been going, there is no chance for players like Hatch to come back. The quality of players has decreased significantly, recently rewatched S13 - Cook Islands, I was in awe. I'll give S 43 a go, but if it's the same as the last two, I'm done. Honestly man, you’re the best to play the game dude, but in this day and age of highly sensitivity there ain’t no way they’re bringing you back unless they (producers) get ahold of you and change you how they want you to be. It sucks to see Survivor and Big Brother like this. Social media has a lot to do with this because of the nonstop complaints which cause producers to submit because they’re afraid of getting hashtaged. As much as I loved you as a player, I would stay away if I were you. Your Samoa and HvV back to backs were the best. But similar or worse that what happened in Redemption island could happen again. I know that tribe was a bunch of dummies but I feel like if you played again, the players (even veterans) and the producers would find a way to embarrass you and get you off first or very early. as much as i would like to see you play again and play differently, i think they wouldn't give you a chance based on reputation. everyone would be an "all-star", so they would be thinking more about threats than tribe strength... tony had to stay up all day and search for idols at night, while looing like a weak strategy player as he tended the fire all day long... that sounds exhausting
