A focus for discussion is a peper entitled "Russia’s Policy Toward World Majority," recently published by the Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs of the Higher School of Economics, Council on Foreign and Defense Policy and Russia in Global Affairs journal with support from the State Duma Committee on International Affairs and under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation. Dmitri Trenin is a RIAC Member. He graduated from the Military Institute (now Military University) in Moscow. Holds a Ph.D. degree in History. He served in the Soviet and Russian army. Liaison officer in the external relations branch of the Group of Soviet Forces in Germany (Potsdam). Senior lecturer at the Military Institute. Member of the delegation at the Geneva talks on nuclear and space weapons. Senior research fellow at the NATO Defense College and fellow at the Institute of Europe of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Head of the scientific council, lead researcher and chairman of the Foreign and Security Policy program of the Carnegie Moscow Center. Since 2008, he’s been Director of the Carnegie Moscow Center. He is the author of over 10 books published in Russia, the USA, Germany, China and other countries. His academic focus is transatlantic and Eurasian security, international relations, Russian foreign policy, geopolitics and globalization, and post-soviet Eurasia.

The days of modern colonial settlerism validated by the UN are coming to an end for the US. The old Occident used Rome, the Vienna Convention, to legalize colonial genocide and such. The Leauge of Nations never absolved Viet Nam's issue, or Russo-Japanese conflict brought on by Britain in 1905. It tried bargaining with Zionists and NAZI's in the 1920's & '30s for the Levant drawing lines for Palestine, Syria, and Lebanon besides Mesopotamia. The U.S. is complicit in genocide today as it also is across the Global Majority with NATO, their Global Monroe Doctrine tool [i.e. NATO - NAZI American Terrorist Organization]. Russian Federation, Peoples Republic of China, India, Brazil, and South Africa vision is 20/20. I couldn't agree more about U.S. belligerent vision, it really thinks the world owes it a living. It and its lackey henchmen will bring down the old Crown countries if they're not careful too except perhaps New Zealand. The US is already proliferating a deal between Saudi Arabia and Israel with nuclear technology (aka weapons?) to spite Iran which has never broken any IAEA agreements, and has signed non-prolideration treaty.

Maybe when Russia and China get their new world order then immigration to Russia / China can be more substantial. Today, many persons in non-west want to go to US / Europe for opportunities not offered in Russia / China. Most countries look to the West for innovation, prosperity, and better lives not offered in Russia / China. Oh, freedom too. At least in Russia the opportunity is to die in Ukraine for money is the only opportunity. Russia has nothing to offer. A new Western approach to Russia can happen or potential change or improve when the Putin's regime is gone and Russians realize Russia has greater potential if they realize Putin type regimes are not a benefit. China is where it is because Western nations invested and were looking for deflationary production to increase western nation prosperity. This allowed China to steal technology and other benefit to create a more livable China but not one that is free.

Blind arrogance of the West has actually created awareness in the world that combined with growing economic power of the non-West world that time to resist West's dominance and control has come. Therefore, I salute it and look forward to the new world order, the multi-polar one that will for surebe a significant step forward to the better world.

Won't happen...Russia has ruined it's reputation for generations...we knew Russia was bad 1963, 1979, 1995 etc...But now with the internet and especially KZbin we, the rest of the World, know that Russia is sick to the core. Lying 24/7 is what Russia does like no other country on Earth. The World see this...and will not forget...A totally ruined reputation takes generations to fix...
