A russian missile strike partially destroyed a children’s hospital in Kyiv on Monday, causing terrified patients and their families to flee for their lives, as officials fear more people could be trapped beneath the rubble. moscow launched a brazen daytime aerial assault on targets in cities across Ukraine during morning rush hour, killing at least 36 people and injuring 137 others, according to Ukraine’s emergency service. The large scale bombardment struck areas in the capital, as well as in Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, Slovyansk and Kramatorsk.
In an update on Telegram, the emergency service said the latest figure included the number of dead and injured in the capital, which now stands at 22 people killed. Two people were killed and at least 16 were injured in the strike on Kyiv’s Okhmatdyt hospital.
The facility is Ukraine’s largest children’s medical center and has been vital in the care of some of the sickest children from across the country. Every year, around 7,000 surgeries - including treatments for cancer and hematological diseases - are conducted at the hospital, according to Ukraine’s human rights ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets.

Back in the 90's I had to take my Dad who had cancer to treatments at the Kaiser facility in Hollywood. The things that stuck in my mind was seeing the children there, with bald heads or ribbons for the lil girls that weekly smiled at me. To this day, it still breaks my heart. Knowing that these children were suffering and had just starting living to suffer. My dad a WWII vetern told me at the time, "Don't feel sorry for me, I've lived a decent life, feel for them". This attack on this children's hospital is the most horrific example of how the Russian people allow this, following their leader.

The news from Ukraine was very horrible . I send medical supplies and medical equipment from hospitals from North and South Ireland . To date we have donated over 20 million Euro ‘s of medical supplies and equipment . I work with charities in Latvia and Sweden . There was no water on the front lines .. we are in a very good relationship with the charities in Latvia and Sweden that are able to deliver our equipment to the front line . Anna I can tell you are sad today, as we are to hear of suffering of innocent people. In particular, I support our Sick Kid's hospital here in Toronto and couldnt imagine how Id react if Russia bombed ours. I happened to notice a girl, maybe 16 years old in line where I was getting lunch, with a Ukraine symbol on her shirt. I asked her if she was from Ukraine and she said yes. Not sure how good her English was but I told her I follow the war closely and Slava Ukraini. She replied Slava heroam. Putin wants a fight to the end, he has made it clear. He thinks they're winning. DEarest Anna, my son Alan developed Lukemia at 2yrs old, He fought through every type of treatment for 10 yrs only to die in my arms at 11yrs old. I am 73yrs old and the experience of the 10 yrs in and out of the child cancer hospital has never left me. Today I read a suggestion from the Silicon Curtain channel. A very wise one. Don't be angry and do nothing but talk and write to your representatives. Here in Europe there is a way to contact the European institute as well as our national representatives. Imagine that every one of us would write to our representatives. Don't say we can't do anything. We can do something. We have to do everything we can even if, apparently, our actions are small. Please follow the suggestion of Silicon Curtain...do something.

I saw this right after I came home from visiting my mom who is hospital undergoing cancer treatment right now. There is a large children’s hospital right beside the hospital my mom is in. It doesn’t take much imagination to understand the horrors of missile strikes on these places. Claiming these are military targets? By which warped thinking can this be justified other than to demoralize and terrorize? If this happened in the middle of Moscow or St. Petersburg, the howling and threats of terrible retaliation would be instantaneous.
