Meanwhile, back in reality, Ukraine never posed any similar threat of first military strike, or illegal military invasion for expansionism... and the fact that if Mr Putin stopped attacking, and brought all his military back to their sovereign territory, there would still be not such threat to the Russian Federation despite what Ukraine has experienced.

Ukraine may had finance and weapons supplied but you still got to make use of it. And used it they have! 2 and half years of war and Russia not even managing to control a quarter of a country that is not even half its size. Credit must be given to Ukraine for holding their ground really well. The only issue will be manpower, Putin will continue to send soliders like lambs to a slaughter in tens of thousands and just don't know if Ukraine will have the manpower to sustain it. Heart and bravery can only go so far.

Population doesn’t matter much in warfare, the thing that matters is weapon maintenance (which russia doesn’t do) and skills (which they don’t have either), but in modern days, newer weapons make things easier (while they still use soviet era equipment)
