Thank you Ania for another excellent podcast! As an American, I am outraged that my government helps to fund and train those who can potentially inflict harm on Russia and other countries as well. It is despicable that such nefarious activities go on with the approval and complicity of the U.S…. Unfortunately, my country meddles in the affairs of msny other sovereign states, often with disastrous results. This is nothing new, the U.S. has a ling and sordid history of such activities, which often result in destabilizing the countries where this goes on. Since the U.S. never seems to learn from past mistakes, such misguided policies continue , without any concern for the consequences that will result. It is baffling that the U.S. conducts itself in such a reckless and irresponsible manner. Ukraine is simply one of the latest catastrophic failures of U.S. foreign policy. My heart goes out to those in Ukraine and Russia who have suffered terrible hardships resulting from this tragic conflict. It is likely that Ukraine and its people will never fully recover from the terrible aftermath of this conflict. How unfortunate that the West seems to cause so much chaos and hardship wherever they intervene! One would have thought by now , the West would find other more productive means to settle differences, but sadly this is not the case. Thank you for having the courage to speak your mind and uncover the truth! It is critically important for all of us to have access to reliable sources of information, in these challenging times. You have demonstrated time and again to be one such credible source, and we all benefit from that. You are doing an excellent job, keep up the good work!

in Italy there was a massif campaign by MSM telling us how good would be to join the UE et cetera. When the Euro currency was adopted, we become poorer, when there was the local currency I could manage to get to the end of the month, with the Euro at the 20 of the month i was already broke. If it wasn't for my mother who has a substantial pension... Anyway I left Italy and went to Australia (back then it was still the "Lucky Country" and saved my daughter from permanent unemployement or underpaid jobs.

That discription you gave by a viewer, is exactly how, I m told by Ukrainian friends. One is Prowest, and one is Proeast. But their srories suites togheter, that "country" is, and where so divided for a long time, many years before feb. 2022 Its wasnt a united people at all, it was superdivided. I thougt to myself, alreadym in 2012, why not divide it by the Dpner right away. Answer went: No, because the west UA, want east UA, because of it natural sources. West had nothing. So they wanted to forbidd all Russian history. The ppl of eastern UA, where feeling threatend, by the western peoples , i sometimes real Nazibelifes. How Poles feel about becoming part of the EU would depend on how much they value their independence, because since they are in the EU Poland no longer decides it's internal affairs they are decided for them in Brussels on the votes of many people who have their own agendas. The EU parliament has absolutely NOTHING(!) to say, neither reject nor deny nor propose anything. The whole EU structure is a 1:1 copy of USSR. EU = EUSSR = USSR. USSR died in the early 1990s, and resurrected as EU 1994. EU = dicatorship = communism = socialism = EUSSR = USSR. It is obvious, if you take serious look at it. The East European countries left the communist Warsaw pact to replace it with the even more communist EUSSR! I am curious what will happen, when they wake up and notice their heavy mistake.

Not all countries in the EU use the euro. Poor countries in the EU receive benefits of high earners like Germany but high earners subsidize poorer countries. It is not the end of the world but a little loss of independence. I'm suspicious about how much control the US banks have in the euro. For the time being, Poland should keep the Zloty

In Switzerland It also about the same "classification " 😎: poorer people and people living in the countryside , in the mountains are far more against Switzerland losing more of its neutrality ( for what is left now ) and taking more part in the EU and for helping more Ukraine , and therefore classified as right-wing or even far-right by the mainstream media . And people living in the cities, wether in the german-speaking part ( I guess also for the italian part ) of the french-speaking part are seen as more open on the world, more multicultural and left-wing or woke as the media says or the so called mainstream narrative ...But it is also about the same classification in France , with some for the Frexit like the farmers and then people living in the big cities , especially Paris

Think 10-20 years in the future. In the USA a lot of small banks (Community and Regional) now have existential problems; a few won't survive. The Nat Debt is $34,7T and every day $2,7B bigger. Nothing can stop that. The total of State and City Debts may be even bigger. Millions of workers have at least one job, and no money to save for their retirement. If they are old they are poor. Lucky people that have savings (pension funds, or else) see their capital erosing due to inflation. Pension Funds can go broke. Reducing inflation makes bankproblems even bigger. All resulting in the decline of national consumption in the US by/before the mid of this century. The USA, now the leader of the free world, will be the poorest nation of all.

What a blustery day you have Ania. I see the trees starting to flower behind you. Amidst all the tragedy in the world there is still beauty from the early delicate flowers of the maples to the boldness of the magnolias and later the white flowers of the chestnuts.
