VAGA VAGABOND

2 жыл бұрын

Once upon a time I asked myself: is it possible to live in the slums surrounded by palm trees but have a choice to either swim in the sea or go skiing? This question arose in my mind as suddenly as I found the answer, having visited Sochi, the capital city of Russian California haha. In less than a week I explored Sochi with its variety of climate zones and places of interest.
Enjoy!

Thank you so much for uploading this❤ just showed this to my mother and she was in disbelieve how many things have changed over the olympics. Also you totally should have filmed the central train Station, it has very pretty architekture.

Terrific work, VAGA BOND. Your videos begin where other vloggers end, showing us not only Sochi but the treacherous mountain passes nearby and the changes brought about by the 2014 Olympics. Have been watching you for a while now and am always impressed. The chances you take traveling by freight train. Incredible. However, your commentaries on Russian cities and unusual sites are some of your best work. You have insight others lack--Vorkuta, for example. Question: Have you visited the White Sea Canal dug by Gulag prisoners? Might be interesting.

What a truly amazing place. Sub-tropical down below and snow up on high. Love the old mountain road and it's a pity they didn't keep the entire road open, at least for bicycles, motorbikes or other light traffic.

@@ivantrainsLIVE Ah, I was thinking perhaps only a section of the entire road was still passable. It’s good that the original road can still be experienced by those with a free sprint like yourself.

I was there! In August 1991 last year of USSR. I have to say it was a bit shocking experience compare to other cities and towns I had went through such as Tulapse where I was staying with the organised trip from Poland. We had been visiting Sochi about 3-4 times at that point, but in last time authorities didn't let us in because the coup of Yanayew started.
