For category 3 if it is difficult to remember unpredictable endings then try to find a synonym from 1st or 2nd group. For example word "есть" to eat - you can use word "кушать" instead - also means to eat.

Thank you. The word I would use for group 3 is "irregular verbs". Ones that do no follow any pattern or logic. English has lots of them as well (as do most languages)

Also some weird stuff like -нуть. I've noticed stuff like -ывать can be kinda weird. Various verbs like йдти, вести, нести, etc. especially the motion verbs. Lots of little details to remember and get right..

My question is, if I slip up, and get the ending wrong, say for instance, instead of, "Ты ешь".. I get it wrong and say, "Ты едите" or "Вы ешь".. Will I be understood? Same with the whole language, say I have all the vocabulary, but I mix the word order up to a more English word order, but use some mixed up cases, will a Russian speaker understand and just correct me, or will they look at me as if I'm speaking Ispanski?

They say Russian is a relative new language 😮

Well, yeah, it's used since 16th century or so, before that there was the ancient eastern-slavic language (approx. VII - XV centuries).

These are not difficult. What about the group of verbs like “нравится, учиться, заниматься, и.т.д 🙂
@lz96803 ай бұрын
Super easy. When the last letter before -ся is a consonant, you put -ся, but if the last letter before -ся is a vowel you put -сь. No exceptions to this rule. For example: я занимаюсь уроками русского языка (Last letter before -ся: ю, so you use -сь), ты ей не очень нравишься (last letter before -ся: шь, so you use -ся).
