Something to remember is that while it is Kursk oblast, the Ukrainians never did get even close to the actual city of Kursk. So when people say the Ukrainians went into Kursk, or they're in Kursk, it's kind of misleading.

Also, NATO contries should have plenty of old tanks, like M60, Challenger I (assumed to be much better than their Soviet equivalent T-55/62) but only the Leopard I model has been sent to Ukraine. Kursk looks like it's shaping out to be a reverse Kursk of 1943 with the Russians (like the Germans did) attacking the salient and the Ukrainians playing the part of the Soviets in the defence. The difference is the Ukrainians haven't built the defences that the Soviets did.
