Despite everything you could hold against them, I as a German personally think every Russian that refuses to fight for Putin deserves to receive asylum in our country. But a requirement for this is for them to openly oppose this war. You can't have it both ways; you can't flee your country's mobilisation and still be a patriotic Russian who opposes our values. The sooner they work, the better they feel, the more taxes they pay, the better for everyone in Germany. It could be a bonus for all of us, if only we would allow them to take jobs! However, most are not allowed to work by law, despite them wanting to work. As a result they feel bad and cost us money.

It doesn't take a lot of logic here: 1)The lesser Russians in the Russian are me,the shorter the war, thus the better German economy will become. 2) Germany is a decadent, close to extinct population with no hope for a future, thanks to a birth rate close to Zero. Those young Russians in their 20s idealized German culture and only wish to be part of it. They are less likely to return to Russia because of their situation.

Allowing draft evaders, or others, to stay outside Russia will make it more difficult for Russia to staff the army and it will lower economic output - so we should allow any Russian who wants to leave to stay for the duration of the war.

I would let PRE draft escapees receive citizenship anytime, after proper vetting to make sure you aren't getting a criminal, but that is TOTALLY different. They opposed the war, many of them actively and in plain sight, when they weren't bodily at risk of being conscripted, but were a significant risk by protesting. To me that let's me know that at least in that respect, they very much align with civilized values. I expect the rest of their values are similar. A lot of reasons. This is, fundamentally, a Russian problem, caused by Russian apathy. Putin invaded Georgia and Ukraine to 'save' the Russians living there, so it is obvious why a country would be reluctant to allow Russians in (thereby giving Putin more 'reason' later); all while trying to keep the lights and heat on in your own hospitals.
